Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan anak usia dini yang masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menjaga kebersihan gigi. Faktor lingkungan dan keterbatasan media pembelajaran yang menarik yang sesuai dengan karakteristik anak menyebabkan rendahnya keterampilan menjaga kebersihan gigi sejak dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa alat permainan edukatif simulasi sikat gigi ( SIGIGI) yang menyenangkan, dan mudah dipahami oleh anak usia 4–6 tahun. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design and Development (DnD) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media Alat permainan edukatif simulasi sikat gigi memperoleh skor kelayakan 100% dari ahli media dan 93% dari ahli materi dengan kategori sangat layak. Uji coba media kepada 10 anak memperoleh nilai sebesar 94% dengan respon sangat positif, ditandai dengan meningkatnya minat dan pengetahuan anak terkait menjaga kebersihan gigi. Dengan demikian, Alat permainan edukatif simulasi sikat gigi (SIGIGI) dinyatakan valid, sangat layak, dan efektif digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran pada anak usia dini. --------- This study addresses the difficulty young children often experience in maintaining dental cleanliness. The issue is compounded by environmental factors and a lack of educational media that is both engaging and tailored to the developmental characteristics of children, resulting in poor oral hygiene skills. To address this gap, this research focused on the development of an educational simulation game for toothbrushing (SIGIGI), specifically created to be fun and intuitive for children aged 4–6. A Design and Development (DnD) research approach was utilized, structured around the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Expert validation of the SIGIGI tool confirmed its quality, receiving a 100% feasibility rating from media experts and 93% from material experts, both deeming it "highly feasible." In a pilot implementation with 10 children, the tool received a 94% positive response score, evidenced by a marked increase in the participants' engagement and understanding of dental care. These findings confirm that the SIGIGI simulation game is a valid, feasible, and effective learning tool for early childhood education.
