    Abstract

    Program magang menjadi strategi yang dapat digunakan perguruan tinggi untuk menyiapkan mahasiswa dalam memasuki dunia kerja, dengan harapan mahasiswa dapat mengembangkan keterampilan, sikap profesional, dan kesiapan mental. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Pengalaman Magang terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Mahasiswa di Pusat Pengembangan Kompetensi SDM Legislatif Sekretariat Jenderal DPR RI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Adapun responden pada penelitian berjumlah 74 mahasiswa yang telah melaksanakan magang, dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Perhitungan data dilakukan menggunakan Microsoft Excel 2021 dan aplikasi Statistical Product for Service Solutions (SPSS) 29.0 for Windows. Analisis data menunjukkan skor variabel pada kategori sangat baik, dengan rata-rata variabel X sebesar 3,04 dan variabel Y sebesar 3,63. Hasil pengujian koefisien korelasi menunjukkan setiap variabel memiliki hubungan kuat dengan skor sebesar 0,783 dengan kategori kuat. Hasil hipotesis menunjukkan kedua variabel saling berpengaruh, dengan hasil pengalaman magang berpengaruh positif sebesar 61,3% terhadap kesiapan kerja mahasiswa dan 38,7% ditentukan oleh faktor lain. Kemudian hasil uji signifkansi perbandingan t hitung dan t tabel menunjukkan nilai 10,670 > 1,666, sehingga menghasilkan kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara Pengalaman Magang terhadap Kesiapan Kerja Mahasiswa di Pusat Pengembangan Kompetensi SDM Legislatif Sekretariat Jenderal DPR RI. The internship program is one of the strategies universities use to prepare students for the workforce, aiming to develop skills, professional attitudes, and mental readiness. This study examines the influence of internship experience on students’ work readiness at the Legislative Human Resource Competency Development Center, Secretariat General of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. Using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach, data were collected from 74 students who had completed internships through questionnaires. Data were analyzed with Microsoft Excel 2021 and SPSS version 29.0 for Windows. Results showed that both variables were categorized as “very good,” with an average score of 3.04 for variable X and 3.63 for variable Y. The correlation coefficient test indicated a strong relationship (0.783). Hypothesis testing revealed that internship experience significantly influences students’ work readiness, contributing 61.3%, while 38.7% is explained by other factors. Furthermore, the significance test (t-count 10.670 > t-table 1.666) confirmed a significant positive effect of internship experience on work readiness. In conclusion, internship programs play an important role in strengthening students’ preparedness to enter the workforce.
