Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji kesesuaian soft skills dan hard skills lulusan SMK Agribisnis Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian (APHP) dengan kebutuhan industri pangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif melalui angket pemeringkatan dan studi dokumentasi kurikulum. Subjek penelitian meliputi lulusan SMK APHP yang bekerja di industri pangan serta perwakilan industri terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa soft skills prioritas kebutuhan industri pangan mencakup etika, tanggung jawab, disiplin, komunikasi, dan kejujuran. Sementara itu, lulusan dinilai telah menunjukkan, tanggung jawab, etika, kerjasama, kejujuran, dan komunikasi. Meskipun kemampuan komunikasi aktif dan disiplin masih perlu ditingkatkan. Pada aspek hard skills, industri memprioritaskan penerapan Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), pemahaman dasar Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), standar keamanan pangan, serta pengoperasian mesin pengolahan pangan. Lulusan umumnya menguasai pemilihan bahan baku, hygiene dan sanitasi industri, pengoperasian mesin pengolahan pangan, pengendalian mutu produk, dan pengelolaan bahan baku. Namun, masih diperlukan peningkatan pada penerapannya di lingkungan industri pangan. Secara umum, soft skills dan hard skills lulusan SMK APHP sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri pangan, tetapi diperlukan penguatan pembelajaran untuk mengoptimalkan kompetensi tersebut sehingga lulusan lebih siap bersaing di industri. Kata kunci: Hard skills, industri pangan, kebutuhan industri, SMK APHP, soft skills ANALYSIS OF THE SUITABILITY OF SOFT SKILLS AND HARD SKILLS OF SMK APHP GRADUATES WITH THE PRIORITY NEEDS OF THE FOOD INDUSTRY ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the suitability of the soft skills and hard skills of graduates of the Agricultural Business and Agricultural Product Processing Vocational School (SMK APHP) with the needs of the food industry. The method used is quantitative descriptive through a ranking questionnaire and curriculum documentation study. The research subjects include SMK APHP graduates working in the food industry and representatives of related industries. The results of the study indicate that the priority soft skills required by the food industry include ethics, responsibility, discipline, communication, and honesty. Meanwhile, graduates are assessed to have developed responsibility, ethics, teamwork, honesty, and communication skills. However, active communication skills and discipline still need to be improved. In terms of hard skills, the industry prioritizes the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), basic understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), food safety standards, and the operation of food processing machinery. Graduates generally master raw material selection, industrial hygiene and sanitation, food processing machine operation, product quality control, and raw material management. However, there is still a need for improvement in their application within the food industry environment. In general, the soft skills and hard skills of SMK APHP graduates align with the needs of the food industry, but further strengthening of learning is required to optimize these competencies so that graduates are better prepared to compete in the industry.
