Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pendamping materi ajar IPS berbasis PjBL yang layak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa sekolah dasar kelas IV di Lubuklinggau dan Musi Rawas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design and Development Research dengan model ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Pengembangan modul pendamping materi ajar IPS berbasis PjBL sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa di sekolah dasar; 2) Modul pendamping materi ajar IPS berbasis PjBL merupakan inovasi pendidikan yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif peserta didik sekolah dasar; 3) Pengembangan modul pendamping materi ajar IPS berbasis PjBL meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif peserta didik secara signifikan valid dan praktis; 4) Penggunaan modul pendamping materi ajar IPS berbasis PjBL menunjukkan efektivitas tinggi meningkatkan hasil belajar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Simpulan penelitian adalah modul pendamping materi ajar IPS berbasis PjBL efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi pengembangan modul pendamping materi ajar IPS integrasi model PjBL pada kelas dan mata pelajaran lainnya. This study aims to develop a PjBL-based social studies teaching material companion module that can improve the critical and creative thinking skills of Grade IV elementary school students in Lubuklinggau and Musi Rawas. The research method used is design and development research using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation). The results of the study showed that 1) the development of a PjBL-based social studies teaching material companion module is needed to improve students' critical and creative thinking skills in elementary schools, 2) PjBL-based social studies teaching material companion module is an educational innovation designed to improve the critical and creative thinking skills of elementary school students; 3) The development of PjBL-based social studies teaching material companion module improves students' critical and creative thinking skills significantly valid and practical; 4) The use of PjBL-based social studies teaching material companion module shows high effectiveness in improving learning outcomes towards critical and creative thinking skills. The conclusion of the research is that a companion module of social studies teaching materials based on PjBL effectively improves the ability of fourth grade elementary school students to think critically and creatively. The results of this study can be a recommendation for the development of companion modules for social studies teaching materials integrated with the PjBL model in other classes and subjects.
