    ABSTRAK PENGARUH MODEL ACTIVE LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN PESERTA DIDIK MENGENAI KONSEP PEMBAGIAN Anisa Banowati Tri Dismaati 2103755 anisabanowati@upi.edu Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep pembagian. hal ini disebakan oleh model pembelajaran yang belum sepenuhnya melibatkan peserta didik secara aktif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh model Active Learning dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain pra- eksperimen jenis one group pretest- posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 25 peserta didik kelas IV SDN X di Kabupaten Bandung Barat, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumenyang digunakan berupa tes pretest dan posttest dengan bentuk soal uraian sebanyak 10 nomor. Data dianalisis menggunakan Uji Validitas, Uji Realibilitas, Uji Normalitas, Uji Paired Sample T-Test, dan Uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa instrument yang digunakan valid dan reliabel, data berdistribusi normal, dan terdapat peningkatan pemahaman konsep yang signifikan dengan nilai N-Gain berada pada kategori sedang. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Active Learning berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik mengenai konsep pembagian. Kata Kunci : Active Learning, Pemahaman Konsep Pembagian, Sekolah Dasar ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCE OF ACTIVE LEARNING MODEL TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' UNDERSTANDING OF THE CONCEPT OF DIVISION Anisa Banowati Tri Dismaati 2103755 anisabanowati@upi.edu This research is motivated by the low understanding of students on the concept of division. this is caused by a learning model that has not fully involved students actively. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the Active Learning model in improving the understanding of fourth grade elementary school students. This research uses quantitative methods with a pre-experimental design type one group pretest- posttest design. The sample in this study amounted to 25 fourth grade students of SDN X in West Bandung Regency, which was selected using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used was a pretest and posttest test in the form of a 10-number description question. Data were analyzed using Validity Test, Reliability Test, Normality Test, Paired Sample T-Test Test, and N-Gain Test. The results showed that the instruments used were valid and reliable, the data were normally distributed, and there was a significant increase in concept understanding with the N-Gain value being in the medium category. Thus, it can be concluded that Active Learning has an effect in improving students' understanding of the concept of division.
