Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran PBL berbantuan QR Code terhadap KPS siswa kelas IV SD pada materi bagian tubuh tumbuhan dan fungsinya. Latar belakang penelitian didasarkan pada rendahnya KPS siswa akibat pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada hafalan dan kurangnya pemanfaatan teknologi sebagai media pembelajaran khususnya pada mata pelajaran IPAS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas IV SD di Kota Bandung, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model PBL dengan media label tanaman berbantuan QR Code dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan model PBL dengan media PowerPoint interaktif tanpa berbantuan QR Code. Instrumen penelitian terdiri atas tes essay (pretest dan posttest), dan wawancara. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik seperti uji N-Gain dan paired sample t-test dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada KPS siswa di kelas eksperimen dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,79 (kategori tinggi), sedangkan kelas kontrol menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih rendah dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,46 (kategori sedang). Uji paired sample t-test baik pada kelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL berbantuan QR Code maupun tanpa berbantuan QR Code sama-sama memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan KPS siswa, namun model PBL berbantuan QR Code memiliki hasil yang lebih signifikan dibandingkan PBL tanpa berbantuan QR Code. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah model PBL berbantuan QR Code lebih efektif meningkatkan KPS siswa, terutama pada indikator mengamati, menafsirkan, dan menerapkan. Penggunaan media QR Code memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual serta meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran IPAS di SD untuk mendukung penguatan keterampilan berpikir ilmiah sejak dini. ----------- This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by QR Code on the science process skills (SPS) of fourth-grade elementary school students on the topic of plant parts and their functions. The background of this research is based on the low level of students' SPS due to learning that still focuses on rote memorization and the lack of technology utilization as a learning medium, especially in the IPAS subject. This research used a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two fourth-grade classes in Bandung, namely the experimental class using the PBL model with plant label media assisted by QR Code, and the control class using the PBL model with interactive PowerPoint media without QR Code assistance. Research instruments included essay tests (pretest and posttest) and interviews. Data were analyzed using statistical tests such as N-Gain and paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS version 25. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ SPS in the experimental class, with an average N-Gain score of 0.79 (high category), while the control class showed a lower improvement with an average N-Gain of 0.46 (moderate category). The paired sample t-test in both the experimental and control classes yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that both the PBL model assisted by QR Code and the PBL model without QR Code had a significant effect on improving students' SPS. However, the PBL model assisted by QR Code showed more significant results. The conclusion of this study is that the PBL model assisted by QR Code is more effective in enhancing students' SPS, especially in the indicators of observing, interpreting, and applying. The use of QR Code media provided a more interactive and contextual learning experience and increased students’ active engagement in the learning process. This study recommends the integration of technology in elementary IPAS learning to support the development of scientific thinking skills from an early age.
