Abstract
The purpose of this study is to obtain the results of e-module design for problem-based learning on data presentation and measures of central tendency that are valid, practical, and effective, as well as to assess the achievement of statistical thinking skills and independent learning among Industrial Engineering students. The method used in this study is a research and development (R&D) study with a three-phase model, namely: (1) preliminary phase, (2) development phase, (3) evaluation phase. The research was conducted at a private university in Tangerang City with 30 students in the Industrial Engineering program as research subjects. The results showed that the e-module design for problem-based learning met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. Validity was based on the e-module validation results, practicality was based on the practicality test of student responses, and effectiveness was based on the results of statistical thinking skills, which showed positive student achievement criteria. With student achievement scores above 70% and an average student score of 72.25, the results of student learning independence achievement showed positive outcomes.
