    Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Computational Thinking (CT) abilities of junior high school students in terms of learning styles (visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) and describe the achievement of students' CT ability indicators. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of 30 eighth-grade students at a public junior high school in Bandung City. Data were collected through written tests in the form of computational thinking ability tests and learning style questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Based on the test results, 6 students were selected as interview subjects to explore the achievement of CT indicators in more depth. The results show that students' CT abilities vary based on their learning styles. Students with a visual learning style tend to demonstrate good decomposition, pattern recognition, algorithmic thinking, and abstraction and generalization abilities, with a systematic and detailed problem-solving approach. Students with an auditory learning style are able to recognize patterns in simple to intermediate problems and have strong algorithmic thinking skills, but face challenges in recognizing patterns and developing algorithms for more complex problems. Meanwhile, students with a kinesthetic learning style demonstrated very strong abilities in decomposition, pattern recognition, algorithmic thinking, and abstraction and generalization, especially in practical applications. Overall, this study concluded that mastery of CT indicators is influenced by students' learning styles. Therefore, it is important for teachers to recognize and understand students' learning styles to adapt learning methods to optimally enhance CT abilities.
