Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya minat baca anak usia dini yang dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya media pembelajaran yang menarik yang sesuai dengan karakteristik anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan minat baca anak sebelum dan sesudah penerapan media buku cerita interaktif digital, serta keefektifan penggunaan media buku cerita interaktif digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif pre-eksperimen one group pre-test post-test. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak 23 anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD X Kabupaten Karawang. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi dan tes. Sedangkan teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu analisis statistic deskriptif, dan uji statistic inferensial yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis atau uji T. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran buku cerita interaktif digital dapat meningkatkan minat baca anak usia dini. Dengan hasil uji N-Gain sebesar 0,81 yaitu masuk pada kategori tinggi dan uji hipotesis dengan uji paired simple t-test yaitu dengan hasil 0,001 (<0,05) yaitu terdapat pengaruh dari adanya penerapan (treatment) buku cerota interaktif digital terhadap minat baca anak usia dini di PAUD X Kabupaten Karawang. ----- This research is motivated by the low interest in reading of early childhood which is influenced by the lack of interesting learning media that suits the characteristics of children. This study aims to determine the difference in children's reading interest before and after the implementation of digital interactive storybook media, as well as the effectiveness of using digital interactive storybook media. The research method used is quantitative pre-experiment one group pre-test post-test. The sample used in this study were 23 children aged 5-6 years in Kindergarten X Karawang Regency. Data collection techniques in this study were observation and tests. While the analysis techniques used were descriptive statistical analysis, and inferential statistical tests namely normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test or T test. The results of the study indicate that the application of digital interactive storybook learning media can increase early childhood reading interest. With the results of the N-Gain test of 0.81 which is included in the high category and hypothesis testing with a paired simple t-test with a result of 0.001 (<0.05) that there is an influence of the application (treatment) of digital interactive storybooks on early childhood reading interest in Kindergarten X Karawang Regency.
