Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum optimalnya kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran seni rupa, khususnya pada kegiatan mencetak bentuk. Kreativitas merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan kognitif dan afektif siswa, yang dapat ditingkatkan melalui pembelajaran seni berbasis eksplorasi dengan teknik dan media yang bervariasi. Salah satu teknik yang berpotensi mendukung pengembangan kreativitas adalah teknik Airbrush menggunakan bahan alam sebagai media cetak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan teknik Airbrush terhadap kreativitas siswa dalam kegiatan mencetak bentuk serta membandingkannya dengan teknik konvensional menggunakan pensil warna. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah 50 siswa kelas II dari dua sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Bandung yang terbagi ke dalam kelas eksperimen (teknik Airbrush) dan kelas kontrol (teknik konvensional). Instrumen penelitian berupa soal pre-test dan post-test kreativitas serta lembar penilaian hasil karya berdasarkan empat indikator yaitu kelancaran berpikir (Fluency), keluwesan berpikir (Flexibility), orisinalitas (Originality), dan elaborasi (Elaboration). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kreativitas yang signifikan pada kelas eksperimen uji Wilcoxon sig. 0,001. Serta perbedaan hasil antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol uji Mann-Whitney sig. 0,086. Dengan demikian, teknik Airbrush efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas siswa dalam pembelajaran seni rupa di sekolah dasar. --------- This study was motivated by the suboptimal creativity of students in art education, particularly in form printing activities. Creativity is an important aspect in the cognitive and affective development of students, which can be enhanced through exploration-based art education using varied techniques and media. One technique that has the potential to support creativity development is the airbrush technique using natural materials as printing media. This study aims to determine the effect of using the Airbrush technique on students' creativity in shape printing activities and to compare it with the conventional technique using colored pencils. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method employing a non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects were 50 second-grade students from two elementary schools in Bandung Regency, divided into an experimental group (Airbrush technique) and a control group (conventional technique). The research instruments consisted of pre-test and post-test creativity questions and a worksheet for assessing the results based on four indicators, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. The research results indicate a significant increase in creativity in the experimental class, as shown by the Wilcoxon test with a significance level of 0.001. Additionally, there was a difference in results between the experimental and control classes, as indicated by the Mann-Whitney test with a significance level of 0.086. Thus, the Airbrush technique is effective in enhancing students' creativity in visual arts education at the elementary school level
