    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dengan sintaks TANDUR terhadap kemampuan argumentasi dan penguasaan konsep siswa SMA pada materi pencemaran lingkungan. Model TANDUR, bagian dari pendekatan Quantum Teaching, mengintegrasikan enam sintaks pembelajaran (Tumbuhkan, Alami, Namai, Demonstrasikan, Ulangi, dan Rayakan) untuk menciptakan suasana belajar yang aktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Pretest-Posttest Control Group, melibatkan dua kelas X di SMAN 13 Garut, yaitu kelas eksperimen dengan pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dengan sintaks TANDUR dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari tes uraian kemampuan argumentasi berbasis Toulmin’s Argumentation Pattern (TAP) dan tes pilihan ganda penguasaan konsep berdasarkan Taksonomi Bloom revisi (C1–C4). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji-t pada taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Quantum Teaching dengan sintaks TANDUR berpengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi dan penguasaan konsep siswa, yang terlihat dari skor gain lebih tinggi pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, Quantum Teaching dengan sintaks TANDUR direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran inovatif untuk mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21, khususnya pada materi biologi kontekstual seperti pencemaran lingkungan. This study aims to examine the influence of the Quantum teaching type TANDUR learning model on senior high school students’ argumentation skills and conceptual understanding in the topic of environmental pollution. As part of the Quantum Teaching approach, TANDUR incorporates six stages of learning (Grow, Experience, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat, and Celebrate) designed to foster an active, enjoyable, and meaningful learning environment. The research employed a quasi-experimental method using a Pretest-Posttest Control Group design, involving two Grade X classes at SMAN 13 Garut: an experimental class implementing Quantum teaching type TANDUR and a control class receiving conventional instruction. The research instruments consisted of an essay-based argumentation skills test grounded in Toulmin’s Argumentation Pattern (TAP) and a multiple-choice conceptual understanding test based on the revised Bloom’s taxonomy (C1–C4). Data were analyzed using an independent t-test at a 0.05 significance level. The results revealed that the Quantum teaching type TANDUR learning model had a significant positive impact on improving students’ argumentation skills and conceptual understanding, as reflected in the higher gain scores of the experimental class compared to the control class. Therefore, Quantum teaching type TANDUR can be recommended as an innovative instructional model to enhance 21st-century skills, particularly in contextual biology topics such as environmental pollution.
