Abstract
Pembelajaran field trip merupakan kegiatan ketika siswa dibawa ke suatu lokasi yang tidak dapat ditiru oleh kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas dengan tujuan mengembangkan potensi diri siswa, menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu siswa terhadap materi pelajaran dan lingkungannya, memberikan motivasi untuk belajar, meningkatkan relevansi dan hubungan pembelajaran, dan memberikan pengalaman langsung kepada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak penerapan field trip terhadap kemampuan argumentasi siswa SMA pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-experimental dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design, Subjek penelitian berjumlah 37 siswa dan hanya terdapat satu kelas. Pembelajaran dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga pertemuan selama tiga minggu. Data kemampuan argumentasi didapatkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes, sedangkan data respon siswa terhadap penerapan field trip didapatkan menggunakan instrumen angket dengan skala Likert. Data kemampuan argumentasi diuji menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Test dan uji N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan field trip berpengaruh signifikan terhadap naiknya skor kemampuan argumentasi, walaupun kenaikannya masih termasuk kategori rendah. Nilai rata-rata kemampuan argumentasi setelah penerapan field trip berapa pada nilai 43.14. Penerapan field trip juga mampu menaikkan level kemampuan argumentasi, walaupun masih didominasi oleh level 2 kemampuan argumentasi. Penerapan field trip mampu mefasilitasi siswa untuk memperbaiki kualitas claim, data/ground, warrant dan rebuttal. Field trip learning is an activity where students are taken to a location that cannot be replicated by classroom learning activities, with the aim of developing students' potential, fostering students' curiosity about the lesson materials and their environment, providing motivation to learn, increasing the relevance and connection of learning, and giving students direct experience. This study aims to analyze the impact of implementing field trips on high school students' argumentation skills regarding environmental change topics. The method used in this research is pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 37 students with only one group. The learning was conducted in three sessions over three weeks. Argumentation skills data were obtained using test instruments, while student responses to the field trip implementation were gathered using a Likert scale questionnaire. The argumentation skills data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank Test and N-gain test. The results showed that the implementation of field trips significantly affected the increase in argumentation skill scores, although the increase was still categorized as low. The average argumentation skill score after the field trip implementation was 43.14. Field trip implementation also raised the level of argumentation skills, though it was still dominated by level 2 argumentation skills. Field trips facilitated students in improving the quality of claim, data/ground, warrant, and rebuttal.
