    Abstract

    Kemajuan teknologi membuat seluruh akses dalam satu genggaman, semua sektor termasuk sektor pendidikan menjadikan teknologi untuk membantu mewujudkan proses yang optimal. Data pendukung menyebutkan pengguna media sosial di Indonesia mencapai 221 juta jiwa. Namun, tidak semua orang mampu menggunakan media sosial dengan bijak. Berdasarkan pra-penelitian ditemukan permasalahan bahwa di era globalisasi terjadi maraknya hal-hal negatif yang dilakukan oleh remaja di media sosial yang menimbulkan terjadinya penyimpangan sosial. Salah satu elemen penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa adalah melalui proses belajar. Guru dengan kualitas mengajar yang mengacu pada kompetensi pedagogik secara komprehensif membentuk guru dengan kualitas yang baik untuk mewujudkan cita-cita pendidikan nasional serta membentuk literasi digital siswa. Penelitian ini secara khusus berfokus pada guru IPS sebab sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran IPS yaitu menciptakan good governance melalui pembelajarannya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kualitas mengajar guru IPS yang mengacu pada kompetensi pedagogik guru pada Standar Nasional Pendidikan dengan literasi digital peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket kepada peserta didik. Obyek penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Cimahi sebagai sekolah yang mengedepankan visi pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEM serta menyesuaikan pembelajaran dengan kemajuan IPTEK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi umum yang dimiliki oleh guru IPS secara internal dan eksternal mendukung kualitas mengajar guru IPS, peserta didik kelas 8 SMP Negeri 1 Cimahi memiliki pemahaman dan keterampilan digital yang memadai, serta adanya hubungan yang positif antara kualitas mengajar guru IPS dengan literasi digital peserta didik. Technological advances have made everything accessible at our fingertips, with all sectors, including education, utilizing technology to help optimize processes. Supporting data shows that there are 221 million social media users in Indonesia. However, not everyone is able to use social media wisely. Based on preliminary research, it was found that in the era of globalization, there has been a surge in negative activities carried out by teenagers on social media, leading to social deviance. One of the key elements in shaping students' character is through the learning process. Teachers with teaching quality that aligns with comprehensive pedagogical competencies form teachers of high quality to realize the national education vision and develop students' digital literacy. This study specifically focuses on social studies teachers because it is in line with the learning objectives of social studies, which is to create good governance through learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the teaching quality of social studies teachers, which refers to the pedagogical competence of teachers in the National Education Standards, and the digital literacy of students. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data collection techniques were carried out by distributing questionnaires to students. The research was conducted at Public Junior High School 1 Cimahi, a school that prioritize a learning vision with a STEM approach and adapts learning to advances in science and technology. The results showed that the general conditions possessed by social studies teachers, both internally and externally, supported the teaching quality of social studies teachers, that grade 8 students at Public Junior High School 1 Cimahi had adequate digital understanding and skills, and that there was a positive correlation between the teaching quality of social studies teachers and the digital literacy of students.
