Abstract
Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh diversitas gender pada direksi di perusahaan perbankan Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2021- 2023 terhadap profitabilitas yang juga akan melihat apakah pengalaman manajerial dapat memoderasi pengaruh tersebut. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah sektor perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dengan jumlah 46. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling yang menghasilkan total 27 perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Analisis regresi data panel dan moderated regression analysis digunakan untuk menguji interaksi pengalaman manajerial pada pengaruh diversitas gender terhadap profitabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (i) diversitas gender berpengaruh negatif terhadap profitabilitas ;(ii) pengalaman manajerial tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas dan; (iii) pengalaman manajerial tidak memoderasi pengaruh diversitas gender terhadap profitabilitas. This study aims to determine the effect of gender diversity on the board of directors of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2021-2023 on profitability, which will also examine whether managerial experience can moderate this effect. The population for this study consists of the banking sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, totaling 46 companies. The sample selection used purposive sampling, resulting in a total of 27 companies. The research method employed is a descriptive approach with a quantitative methodology. Panel data regression analysis and moderated regression analysis were used to test the interaction of managerial experience on the effect of gender diversity on profitability. The results of the study indicate that: (i) gender diversity has a negative effect on profitability; (ii) managerial experience does not affect profitability; and (iii) managerial experience does not moderate the effect of gender diversity on profitability.
