    Abstract

    Peserta didik cerebral palsy spastik quadriplegi mengalami hambatan dalam mempertahankan posisi kepala saat duduk di kursi roda, yang berdampak pada keterlibatan mereka dalam kegiatan aktivitas pembelajaran di kelas. Di SLB Negeri Cileunyi, belum tersedia program bina gerak yang secara khusus dirancang untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut melalui pendekatan yang sesuai dengan kondisi anak dan lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun Program Bina Gerak Kontrol Kepala yang dapat digunakan oleh guru dalam proses pembelajaran bina gerak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi kebutuhan dan merancang program secara mendalam dengan melibatkan lima orang guru sebagai partisipan dan satu peserta didik cerebral palsy spastik quadriplegi sebagai partisipan utama. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi, lalu diolah untuk merumuskan isi program berdasarkan kebutuhan yang ditemukan di lapangan. Hasil penelitian ini berupa Program Bina Gerak Kontrol Kepala yang terdiri atas tiga bagian utama, yaitu stimulasi sensori (auditori, visual, dan vestibular), positioning, serta latihan gerak. Program ini telah divalidasi oleh ahli dan dinyatakan layak serta dapat dilaksanakan oleh guru di lingkungan sekolah. Students with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy often have difficulty maintaining head control while seated in a wheelchair, which affects their participation in classroom learning activities. At SLB Negeri Cileunyi, there is currently no motor development program specifically designed to support the improvement of this ability through an approach suited to the students’ conditions and the school environment. This study aimed to design a Head Control Motor Development Program that teachers can use during motor development sessions. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study design, through which the program was developed based on a detailed exploration of needs, involving five teachers as participants and one student with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy as the main participant. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document review, then used to create the program content based on findings in the field. The result is a Head Control Motor Development Program consisting of three main parts, sensory stimulation (auditory, visual, and vestibular), positioning, and movement activities. The program has been reviewed by experts and is considered suitable to be implemented by teachers in the school setting.
