Abstract
----- This study was motivated by the low ability of early childhood to recognize numbers. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the differences in children's ability to recognize numbers before and after the application of the Wordwall application, as well as to determine the effectiveness of the Wordwall application in number recognition for children. The research method used was a quantitative method, specifically a pre-experimental design using a one-group pre-test post-test design, involving 28 samples of children aged 4–5 years. Data collection techniques were conducted through test sheets and documentation. Data analysis included descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The research results showed significant differences in children's ability to recognize numbers before and after using the Wordwall application, as indicated by the paired samples t-test and simple linear regression test values. This finding is reinforced by the N-Gain value, which falls into the high category, meaning that the Wordwall application is effective in improving young children's ability to recognize numbers. Therefore, the Wordwall application can be used as a digital learning tool in number recognition activities for young children.
