    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan memvalidasi media pembelajaran digital berupa EKSIS (Ebook Ekosistem) untuk membantu siswa kelas III Sekolah Dasar memahami konsep ekosistem. Media ini dirancang agar sesuai dengan karakteristik pembelajaran digital yang menekankan pemanfaatan teknologi dalam proses belajar mengajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design and Development (D&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahap: Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Validasi dilakukan oleh dua ahli, yaitu ahli desain media pembelajaran dan ahli materi, menggunakan instrumen skala Likert lima tingkat. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa produk memperoleh nilai rata-rata 5 pada kedua aspek, sehingga dikategorikan sangat baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan memenuhi kriteria kelayakan baik dari sisi desain maupun kualitas konten. Uji coba dilakukan pada 29 siswa kelas III SD di Jakarta Selatan. Hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa EKSIS membantu siswa memahami konsep ekosistem dengan lebih mudah, menarik, dan interaktif. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang relevan dengan era digital serta sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa sekolah dasar. This study aims to develop and validate a digital learning medium called EKSIS (Ecosystem Ebook) to assist third-grade elementary school students in understanding the concept of ecosystems. The media was designed to align with the characteristics of digital learning that emphasize the integration of technology in the teaching and learning process. The research employed the Design and Development (D&D) method using the ADDIE development model, consisting of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Validation was carried out by two experts, namely an instructional media design expert and a subject matter expert, using a five-point Likert scale instrument. The results showed that the product obtained an average score of 5 in both aspects, categorized as “excellent.” This indicates that the media meets the feasibility criteria in terms of both design and content quality. A trial was conducted with 29 class III students at an elementary school in South Jakarta. The results demonstrated that EKSIS helped students understand the ecosystem concept more easily, engagingly, and interactively. This research contributes to the development of technology-based learning media that is relevant to the digital era and responsive to the needs of elementary school students.
