    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji Tari Cakter di Bangka Belitung menggunakan pendekatan Etnokoreologi serta mengimplementasikan strategi nested dalam proses pembelajaran tari sebagai upaya meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 pada siswa SMP Negeri 1 Payung. Penelitian ini menggunakan mixed methods research dengan the Exploratory sequential design. Pada tahap kualitatif, analisis deskriptif berbasis pendekatan Etnokoreologi diterapkan dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Data kualitatif dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengeksplorasi teks dan konteks Tari Cakter. Sementara itu, tahap kuantitatif menggunakan desain pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest dengan instrumen angket dan tes yang diberikan kepada 25 siswa kelas VIIc. Analisis data dilakukan melalui teknik statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian secara kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa Tari Cakter, sebagai tari tradisional Bangka Belitung, memiliki unsur gerak, busana, rias, properti, dan musik pengiring yang tidak terlepas dari konteks sejarah serta fungsi sosialnya. Tarian ini merupakan tari pergaulan berpasangan yang berkembang di Kabupaten Bangka, namun sempat mengalami penurunan eksistensi hingga direvitalisasi pada tahun 2023 sebagai sajian estetis dan hiburan. Struktur geraknya terdiri atas enam ragam yang dikategorikan sebagai gesture, pure movement, dan locomotion. Tarian ini dapat dijadikan bahan ajar berbasis budaya lokal yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 (4C) pada siswa SMP. Hasil kuantitatif uji statistik terhadap data pretest dan posttes menunjukkan bahwa penerapan bahan ajar Tari Cakter melalui lima kali pertemuan pembelajaran berbasis strategi nested berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, komunikasi, serta kreativitas pada aspek sikap maupun pengetahuan siswa. Uji normalitas memperlihatkan bahwa data sikap dan pengetahuan, baik pada pretest maupun posttest berdistribusi normal. Uji T pada seluruh indikator memperlihatkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 sehingga terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pretest dan posttest. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran Tari Cakter melalui strategi nested secara efektif mampu meningkatkan sikap dan pengetahuan siswa dalam mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21. Penelitian ini menunjukkan kebaruan berupa integrasi Etnokoreologi dengan strategi nested dalam pembelajaran seni tari tingkat SMP, pemanfaatan Tari Cakter sebagai bahan ajar kontekstual berbasis budaya lokal, serta pengembangan media inovatif berupa flipbook digital. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan seni budaya yang dirancang dengan pendekatan kolaboratif, reflektif, dan berbasis kearifan lokal dapat menjadi wahana efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi generasi abad ke 21.; This study aims to examine the Cakter Dance in Bangka Belitung through an ethnocoreological approach and to implement the nested learning strategy in dance education as an effort to enhance 21st-century skills among students of SMP Negeri 1 Payung. The research employed a mixed-methods approach with an exploratory sequential design. In the qualitative phase, descriptive analysis based on ethnocoreology was applied, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The qualitative data were analyzed using thematic analysis to explore both the textual and contextual aspects of the Cakter Dance. Meanwhile, the quantitative phase employed a pre-experimental one group pretest-posttest design with questionnaires and tests administered to 25 students of class VIIc. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques.The qualitative findings indicate that the Cakter Dance, as a traditional dance of Bangka Belitung, encompasses elements of movement, costume, makeup, properties, and musical accompaniment, which are inseparable from its historical and social functions. It is a paired social dance originating from Bangka Regency that had experienced a decline in existence but was revitalized in 2023 as both an aesthetic and entertainment performance. The movement structure consists of six variations categorized into gesture, pure movement, and locomotion. This dance can serve as a local culture-based teaching material capable of fostering 21st-century skills (4C) among junior high school students. Quantitative findings based on statistical tests of pretest and posttest data reveal that the application of Cakter Dance learning materials through five sessions using the nested strategy significantly improved students’ critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity in both attitudes and knowledge. Normality tests confirmed that the data were normally distributed, while t-tests across all indicators yielded Sig. (2-tailed) values < 0.05, indicating significant differences between pretest and posttest results. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning Cakter Dance through the nested strategy effectively enhances students’ attitudes and knowledge in developing 21st-century skills. This research offers novelty by integrating ethnocoreology with the nested learning strategy in junior high school dance education, utilizing Cakter Dance as contextual teaching material based on local culture, and developing an innovative digital flipbook as a learning medium. The findings underscore that culture-based art education, designed through collaborative and reflective approaches rooted in local wisdom, can serve as an effective platform to strengthen the competencies required of the 21st-century generation.
