    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran senam irama melalui implementasi aktivitas Pound fit. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil observasi awal yang menunjukkan rendahnya partisipasi dan antusiasme siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Bandung dalam mengikuti pembelajaran senam irama. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII H yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan angket Situational Interest Scale (SIS) untuk mengukur minat belajar siswa, dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata minat belajar siswa pada pra siklus sebesar 63,25%, meningkat menjadi 72,36% pada siklus I, dan mencapai 84,27% pada siklus II. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan aktivitas Pound Fit dalam pembelajaran senam irama dapat secara efektif meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Aktivitas ini dinilai menarik karena memadukan gerakan ritmis, musik, dan penggunaan alat bantu (ripstix) sehingga menciptakan suasana belajaryang lebih menyenangkan dan interaktif. This study aims to increase students’ learning interest in rhythmic gymnastics through the implementation of Pound fit activities. The background of the research is based on preliminary observations that showed low participation and enthusiasm among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 9 Bandung in rhythmic gymnastics learning. The research method used is Classroom Action Research with the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the study were 32 students from class VII H. Data collection instruments included the Situational Interest Scale (SIS) questionnaire to measure students’ learning interest, and the data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative methods The results showed that the average student interest in learning increased from 63.25% in the pre-cycle, to 72.36% in the first cycle, and reached 84.27% in the second cycle. These findings demonstrate that the application of Pound fit activities in rhythmic gymnastics lessons effectively enhances students' learning interest. The activity was found to be engaging because it integrates rhythmic movement, music, and the use of ripstix, creating a more enjoyable and interactive learning environment.
