    Abstract

    Hasil PISA 2022 menunjukkan bahwa literasi numerasi siswa di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah jika dibandingkan dengan negara lain. Untuk itu, perlu penerapan metode belajar yang tepat untuk meningkatkan literasi numerasi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur peningkatan literasi numerasi (konten aljabar) siswa SMA setelah pelaksanaan praktikum uji kuantifikasi kalori dan kadar glukosa Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran keterlaksanaan praktikum dan respon siswa terhadap praktikum yang dilaksanakan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode pre-experimental dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Partisipan penelitian terdiri dari 34 siswa kelas XI yang sedang mempelajari materi sistem pencernaan. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen tes berupa soal pretest dan posttest literasi numerasi pada konten aljabar, serta instrumen non-tes berupa lembar observasi keterlaksanaan praktikum dan angket respons siswa terhadap praktikum. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa literasi numerasi (konten aljabar) siswa meningkat setelah pelaksanaan praktikum uji kuantifikasi kalori dan kadar glukosa dengan keterlaksanaan praktikum yang efektif dan respons siswa yang positif terhadap pelaksanaan praktikum. Meskipun begitu, penelitian ini masih membutuhkan perbaikan untuk kedepannya terutama berkaitan dengan durasi pelaksanaan praktikum yang terlalu pendek serta perhatian terhadap keselamatan kerja pada saat pelaksanaan praktikum sehingga praktikum dapat berjalan lebih efektif. The results of the 2022 PISA show that the numeracy literacy of students in Indonesia is still relatively low compared to other countries. Therefore, it is necessary to implement appropriate learning methods to improve students' numeracy literacy. This study aims to measure the increase in numeracy literacy (algebraic content) of high school students after implementing a calorie and glucose quantification test lab. In addition, this study also aims to provide an overview of the implementation of the lab and student responses to the lab. The method used was a pre-experimental method with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The study participants consisted of 34 11th grade students studying the digestive system. Data were collected using test instruments in the form of pretest and posttest questions on numeracy literacy in algebraic content, as well as non-test instruments in the form of observation sheets on the implementation of the lab and student response questionnaires to the lab. The results show that students' numeracy literacy (algebraic content) increased after implementing the calorie and glucose quantification test lab, with effective implementation of the lab and positive student responses to the lab. However, this research still requires improvement, particularly regarding the relatively short duration of the lab and increased attention to safety during the lab to ensure more effective implementation.
