Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana program bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik cooperative play berefikasi terhadap pengembangan keterampilan sosial siswa sekolah dasar. Beberapa aspek keterampilan sosial yang diukur mengacu pada teori Gresham & Elliott (1990) yaitu kerja sama, asertif, tanggung jawab, empati, dan pengendalian diri. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode mix method. Strateginya menggunakan mix method (metode campuran) dan desainnya adalah eksplanatoris sekuensial. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 24 siswa (12 pada kelompok eksperimen dan 12 pada kelompok kontrol) di SD Negeri 093 Tunas Harapan Cijerah, Kota Bandung. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah rating scale keterampilan sosial siswa sekolah dasar, lembar observasi keterampilan sosial dan layanan bimbingan kelompok, dan lembar wawancara keterampilan sosial. Analisis data menggunakan aplikasi Microsoft excel dan SPSS versi 24 untuk menghitung statistik deskriptif (min, maks, mean, simpangan baku, dan persentase), dan statistik inferensial (uji perbedaan rata-rata). Cara-cara kualitatif (reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan) juga dilakukan dalam menganalisis lembar observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterampilan sosial siswa (kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol) sebelum mendapatkan intervensi berada pada kategori cukup baik. Hasil keterampillan sosial sebelum mendapatkan intervensi menjadi dasar dalam pengembangan program keterampilan sosial. Program bimbingan kelompok melibatkan 5 aktivitas bermain sesuai dengan aspek keterampilan sosial. Setelah diberikan intervensi, kelompok eksperimen berada pada kategori baik dan kelompok kontrol berada pada kategori cukup baik. Dilihat dari peningkatannya, kelompok eksperimen mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori sedang (N-Gain=0,50), dan kelompok kontrol mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori rendah (N-Gain=0,25). Berdasarkan hasil uji perbedaan rata-rata menggunakan Mann-Whitney Test-U, sig. sebesar 0,012. Artinya, terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol pada keterampilan sosial. Program bimbingan kelompok menggunakan teknik cooperative play dapat menjadi suplemen dalam memberikan layanan bimbingan dan konseling di sekolah dasar. The research aims to analyse how group guidance programs using cooperative play techniques affect the development of social skills in elementary school students. Several aspects of social skills measured refer to the theory of Gresham & Elliott (1990), such as cooperation, assertiveness, responsibility, empathy, and self-control. The research was conducted using a mixed-method approach. The strategy uses a mixed-method design, and the design is sequential explanatory. The research participants consisted of 24 students (12 in the experimental group and 12 in the control group) at the elementary school of 093 Tunas Harapan Cijerah-Bandung. The research instruments used are a rating scale for elementary school students' social skills, an observation sheet for social skills and group guidance services, and an interview sheet for social skills. Data analysis was conducted using Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 24 to calculate descriptive statistics (minimum, maximum, mean, standard deviation, and percentage) and inferential statistics (test of mean differences). Qualitative methods (data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion) were also employed in the analysis of the observation sheets and interviews. The results of the study showed that the social skills of students (experimental and control groups) before receiving intervention were in the 'fairly good' category. The initial assessment of social skills prior to intervention served as the foundation for designing targeted social skills programs. The group guidance program incorporated five play-based activities tailored to various aspects of social skills. Following the intervention, the experimental group demonstrated performance in the "good" category, while the control group remained in the "fairly good" category. In improvement, the experimental group exhibited moderate progress with a medium-category (N-Gain=0.50), whereas the control group showed minimal improvement, classified as low-category (N-Gain=0.25). Based on the results of the average difference test using the Mann-Whitney Test-U, the significance level is 0.012. This means there is a significant difference between the experimental and control groups in social skills. The group guidance program using cooperative play techniques can serve as a supplement to provide guidance and counselling services in elementary schools.
