Abstract
Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS masih relatif rendah, sebagaimana ditunjukkan di SDN 053 Cisitu. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebelum dan setelah penerapan model pembelajaran AIR berbantuan media podcast, serta mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran AIR terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah pre-eksperiment jenis one group pretest-posttest, melibatkan peserta didik kelas IVA SDN 053 Cisitu. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa skor rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis sebelum perlakuan adalah 66,92 (kategori sedang) dan meningkat menjadi 90,88 (kategori sangat tinggi) setelah perlakuan. Uji wilcoxon menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000<0,05, yang menandakan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan secara statistik. Skor N-Gain sebesar 0,75 membuktikan adanya peningkatan tinggi. Sementara itu, hasil analisis regresi linear sederhana membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran AIR memberikan pengaruh sebesar 27,6% terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berfikir kritis peserta didik. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran AIR berbantuan media podcast terbukti berpengaruh cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik sekolah dasar. ----- Students critical thinking skills in natural and social studies learning are still relatively low, as shown in SDN 053 Cisitu. The purpose of this study was to determine students' critical thinking skills before and after the implementation of the AIR learning model assisted by podcast media, as well as to determine the effect of the AIR learning model on elementary school students critical thinking skills. The method used was a one-group pre-experiment pre-test-posttest, involving grade IVA students of SDN 053 Cisitu. The results of the study proved that the average score of critical thinking skills before treatment was 66.92 (moderate category) and increased to 90.88 (very high category) after treatment. The Wilcoxon test showed a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which indicates a statistically significant difference. The N-Gain score of 0.75 proved a high increase. Meanwhile, the results of a simple linear regression analysis proved that the AIR learning model had an effect of 27.6% on improving students critical thinking skills. Thus, the AIR learning model assisted by podcast media has proven to be quite effective in improving the critical thinking skills of elementary school students.
