Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa pada materi mengenal Pancasila di kelas III SDN Sukamulya 03, Kabupaten Bekasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One Group Pretest Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas III berjumlah 32 siswa. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 25 siswa kelas III, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi dan tes. Rata-rata skor posttest sebesar 77,00 lebih besar dari pretest sebesar 47,80. Rata-rata skor observasi keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa secara lisan pada pertemuan tiga sebesar 93,20 lebih besar dari pertemuan pertama sebesar 67,80. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu Paired Sample T-Test. Dari hasil uji hipotesis dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics 27 diperoleh nilai t sebesar -36,500 nilai ini menunjukkan besarnya perbedaan rata-rata antara nilai pretest dan posttest. Nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) adalah < 0,001, lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi standar α = 0,05. Hasil menunjukkan Sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 (H0 ditolak) sehingga terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berkomunikasi siswa pada materi mengenal Pancasila. ----- This study the influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach on improving students' communication skills in the material of introducing Pancasila in third grade at SDN Sukamulya 03, Bekasi Regency. The research method is a quantitative pre-experimental approach using a One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The population of this study comprises all third-grade students, totaling 32 students. The sample consists of 25 third-grade students, selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques include observation and tests. The average posttest score was 77.00, which is higher than the pretest score of 47.80. The average score of students' oral communication skills observation at the third meeting was 93.20, higher than at the first meeting, which was 67.80. The data analysis technique used is the Paired Sample T-Test. The hypothesis test results, aided by IBM SPSS Statistics 27, show a t-value of -36.500, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. The significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) is < 0.001, which is less than the standard significance level α = 0.05. The result shows that Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.05 (H0 is rejected), indicating a significant difference between the conditions before and after the treatment. In conclusion, applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach has a important role in enhancing students’ communication skills in the material of understanding Pancasila.
