Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik di kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan teknik Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI-7 (kelas eksperimen) dan kelas XI-6 (kelas kontrol) dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan teknik Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI). Serta terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis antara kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model pembelajaran inkuiri dengan teknik Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) dan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode ceramah. This research is motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students in class XI of SMA Negeri 1 Bandung. This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model with the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) technique on students' critical thinking skills in economics subjects. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were students in class XI-7 (experimental class) and class XI-6 (control class) selected using purposive sampling techniques as samples. The results showed that there were differences in students' critical thinking skills before and after the application of the inquiry learning model with the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) technique. And there were differences in critical thinking skills between the experimental class that applied the inquiry learning model with the Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI) technique and the control class that used the lecture method.
