Abstract
Penelitiaan ini mengacu kurikulum merdeka dengan mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia. Terdapat enam keterampilan berbahasa yang perlu dikuasai oleh peserta didik salah satunya yakni menulis. Keterampilan menulis dapat dipelajari dengan bantuan media pembelajaran, salah satunya media video pembelajaran animasi. Media video pembelajaran animasi termasuk media audio-visual yang menampilkan objek bergerak disertai dengan suara. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan media video pembelajaran animasi, peningkatan menulis teks eksplanasi, pengaruh penggunaan media video pembelajaran animasi, serta perbandingan penggunaan media terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan quasi-experimental design dalam bentuk nonequivalent dengan populasi kelas V SD Negeri 1 Pangandaran sebanyak 40 peserta didik dengan sampel masing-masing kelas 20 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan yakni lembar penugasan unjuk kerja dengan rubrik penilaian. Data penelitian didapatkan dari hasil penilaian awal (pretest) dan akhir (posttest). Data diolah menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif, inferensial, dan n-gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media video pembelajaran animasi memberikan pengaruh secara signifikan dibuktikan dengan nilai rata-rata pretest kelas eksperimen senilai 42.40 dan posttest kelas eksperimen senilai 76.60 lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan dengan nilai rata-rata pretest kelas kontrol senilai 42.80 dan posttest kelas kontrol senilai 61.00. Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan Ha diterima dan H₀ ditolak sehingga terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media video pembelajaran animasi terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi. Rata-rata skor N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 61.67% dalam kategori "cukup efektif". Rata-rata skor N-Gain kelas kontrol sebesar 33.47% dalam kategori "kurang efektif". This research uses the independent curriculum with Indonesian language subjects, there are six main skills that need to be mastered by students, one of which is writing. Writing skills can be learned by students with the help of learning media, one of which is animated learning video media. Animated learning video media includes audio-visual media that displays moving objects accompanied by sound. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using animated learning video media on the skill of writing explanatory text. The type of research conducted with a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental design in the form of nonequivalent with a population of class V SD Negeri 1 Pangandaran as many as 40 students with a sample of 20 students each class. The instrument used is an essay-shaped test question with an assessment rubric. Research data obtained from the results of the initial assessment (pretest) and the end (posttest) which aims to compare the skills of writing explanatory texts before and after treatment or treatment. The data obtained from the assessment in the form of scores and scores are converted into values, processed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of this study indicate that the use of animated learning video media has a significant effect as evidenced by the average value of the experimental class pretest worth 42.40 and the experimental class posttest worth 76.60 higher than the average value of the control class pretest worth 42.80 and the control class posttest worth 61.00. Hypothesis testing shows H₁ is accepted and H₀ is rejected, so there is an effect of using animated learning video media on the skill of writing explanatory text. The average N-Gain score of the experimental class was 61.67% in the "moderately effective" category. The average N-Gain score of the control class was 33.47% in the "less effective" category.
