    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh implementasi kurikulum 2013 di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas yang menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran disusun untuk memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk belajar sesuai minat. Program tersebut diberi nama lintas minat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi minat belajar, hasil belajar kognitif, dan seberapa besar pengaruh minat belajar peserta didik lintas minat terhadap hasil belajar mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri Kota Jakarta Barat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi korelasi dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 4 sekolah menengah atas negeri yang melaksanakan program lintas minat mata pelajaran geografi dengan sampel sebanyak 189 siswa kelas XI. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, tes tertulis, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sebelum data dianalisis, dilakukan dahulu uji validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen dengan bantuan SPSS versi 16. Kemudian dilakukan uji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas data dan uji linearitas. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) tingkat minat belajar peserta didik terkategori tinggi dengan skor antara 87 – 112 sebanyak 51% responden dan skor rata-rata sebesar 87. (2) tingkat hasil belajar kognitif terkategori tinggi dengan perolehan nilai antara 68 – 83 sebanyak 43% responden. (3) Diketahui nilai thitung sebesar 2,436 > ttabel 1,97 maka disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh minat belajar peserta didik terhadap hasil belajar kognitif mata pelajaran geografi di SMA Negeri Kota Jakarta Barat dengan pengaruh sebesar 3,1%. Sementara 96,9% pengaruh lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang tidak diukur dalam penelitian ini. Peneliti selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengukur faktor-faktor lain yang diduga memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar kognitif mata pelajaran geografi. This study is based on the implementation of the 2013 curriculum at the senior high school level, which states that learning is structured to provide opportunities for students to learn according to their interests. The program is called cross-major. This study aims to identify learning interest, cognitive learning outcomes and the extent to which cross-major students' learning interests have an impact on the learning outcomes of geography topics at public highschool of West Jakarta. This study used a correlation method with a quantitative approach. A sample of 189 11th grade students from 4 public high schools that provide cross- major programs in geography contribute the population of this study. Techniques for gathering data include observation, surveys, tests, interviews, and documentation. Students can show their interest in studying through questionnaires. While the written exam was used to gauge success in cognitive learning. With the aid of SPSS version 16, the instrument's validity and dependability were evaluated prior to data analysis. The analysis precondition test, which includes the line arity and normality tests of the data, is next perfor med. The research's data analysis method is linear regression analysis. (1) The study's findings show that students' enthusiasm in studying is high, with scores ranging from 87 to 112 and up to 51 percent of respondents scoring in that range on average. (2) With scores between 68 and 83, up to 43% of respondents, the level of cognitive learning outcomes is considered strong. (3) Considering that the value of tcount is 2.436 and that ttable is 1.97, it is clear that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This implies that there is a 3.1 percent effect of student interest in learning on the cognitive learning outcomes of geography at West Jakarta public high school. In addition, other factors that were not assessed in this study affected the other impacts in 96.9% of cases. Further researchers are advised to measure other factors that are suspected of having an influence on cognitive learning outcomes in geography subjects.
