    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tingkat literasi jasmani dan harga diri pada siswa sekolah dasar, serta menganalisis hubungan antara keduanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dan melibatkan 84 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 29. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor literasi jasmani adalah 87,83 dan skor harga diri sebesar 61,77, yang secara umum berada dalam kategori cukup baik, meskipun terdapat variasi skor yang cukup besar antarindividu. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,112 (p > 0,05) dan koefisien korelasi Pearson sebesar 0,175. Hal ini mengindikasikan adanya hubungan positif yang sangat lemah dan tidak signifikan secara statistik antara literasi jasmani dan harga diri. Kelemahan hubungan ini kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh keterbatasan instrumen pengukuran harga diri yang digunakan, yang bersifat umum dan belum sepenuhnya mencerminkan konteks pendidikan jasmani. This study aims to describe the levels of physical literacy and self-esteem among elementary school students, as well as to analyze the relationship between the two variables. A quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach was employed, involving 84 students selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson correlation tests with the assistance of SPSS version 29. Descriptive analysis results showed that the average physical literacy score was 87.83 and the average self-esteem score was 61.77, which are generally categorized as moderate to good, although there was considerable variation among individuals. The correlation test yielded a significance value of 0.112 (p > 0.05) with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.175. This indicates a very weak and statistically insignificant positive relationship between physical literacy and self-esteem. The weakness of the relationship may be influenced by limitations in the self-esteem measurement instrument used, which was general in nature and may not fully reflect the context of physical education. Nevertheless, these findings provide an initial overview that can be beneficial for future studies, particularly in developing more contextually relevant instruments within the field of physical education.
