Abstract
Dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya kemampuan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris siswa kelas V di UPTD SDN Purwamekar, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kuantum tipe TANDUR berbantuan Quizziz terhadap kemampuan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris, serta perbandingan peningkatan kemampuan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris antara siswa kelas V yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran kuantum tipe TANDUR berbantuan media Quizziz dengan siswa yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS berbantuan media Flash Card. Penelitian menggunakan model penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan model nonequivalent control group design. Populasi yang digunakan sebanyak 672 siswa dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 70 siswa kelas V yang dibagi secara merata ke dalam kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pretest dan posttest yang telah diuji kelayakan, test mencakup empat indikator kosakata: form, usage, pronunciation, dan word meaning. Analisis data dilakukan melalui analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial berupa uji independent t-test, N-Gain, linearitas, koefisien regresi dan koefisien determinasi menggunakan software SPSS Statistics versi 22.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran kuantum tipe TANDUR berbantuan media Quizziz sebanyak 88,6% terhadap peningkatan indikator penguasaan kosakata dan peningkatan kelas eksperimen lebih besar dengan nilai N-Gain 0,817 dibanding kelas kontrol dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,632. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu dengan memperhatikan model pembelajaran kuantum tipe TANDUR berbantuan media Quizziz dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris maka guru hendaknya menerapkannya dalam pembelajaran agar indikator penguasaan kosakata Bahasa Inggris siswa dapat meningkat. ----- Based on the problem of low English vocabulary skills among fifth-grade students at UPTD SDN Purwamekar, this study aims to determine the effect of the TANDUR quantum learning model assisted by Quizziz on English vocabulary mastery, as well as to compare the improvement in English vocabulary mastery between fifth-grade students who were given treatment using the TANDUR quantum learning model assisted by Quizziz media and students who were given treatment using the TPS cooperative learning model assisted by Flash Card media. The study used a quasi-experimental research model with a nonequivalent control group design. The population consisted of 672 students, with a sample of 70 fifth-grade students divided equally into experimental and control groups. Data were collected through a pretest and posttest that had been validated, covering four vocabulary indicators: form, usage, pronunciation, and word meaning. Data analysis was conducted through descriptive and inferential analyses, including independent t-tests, N-Gain, linearity tests, regression coefficients, and coefficient of determination, using SPSS Statistics software version 22.0. The results of the study indicate that the TANDUR quantum learning model assisted by Quizziz media has an 88.6% effect on improving vocabulary mastery indicators, with the experimental class showing greater improvement with an N-Gain value of 0.817 compared to the control class with an N-Gain value of 0.632. This study implies that by considering the TANDUR-type quantum learning model assisted by Quizziz media in improving English vocabulary mastery, teachers should apply it in their teaching to enhance students' English vocabulary mastery indicators.
