    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi teknik pemrograman CNC milling. Diantara penyebabnya yaitu pemahaman siswa masih abstrak mengenai pergerakan pahat CNC milling karena media pembelajaran yang belum sesuai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kategori peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan respons siswa setelah menggunakan aplikasi CNC VMC Simulator. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif menggunakan pre-eksperimental design dengan bentuk one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK dengan sampel diambil secara purposif yaitu siswa kelas XI TP 2 berjumlah 36 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada hasil pretest tidak ada siswa yang memperoleh nilai diatas KKM sedangkan pada hasil posttest semua siswa memperoleh nilai diatas KKM. Adapun peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan aplikasi CNC VMC Simulator dinyatakan dalam N-gain yaitu 0,72 termasuk pada kategori “Tinggi”, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi CNC VMC Simulator termasuk pada kategori “Sangat baik” dan respons siswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi CNC VMC Simulator diperoleh yaitu 83% termasuk pada kategori “Sangat baik”. This research was motivated by the low student learning outcomes in CNC milling programming engineering material. Among the causes is that students' understanding is still abstract regarding the movement of CNC milling tools because the learning media is not appropriate. This research aims to determine the category of improvement in student learning outcomes, implementation of learning and student responses after using the CNC VMC Simulator application. The research method used is quantitative using a pre-experimental design in the form of a one group pretest-posttest design. The research was carried out at vocational schools with samples taken purposively, namely 36 class XI TP 2 students. The research results showed that in the pretest results there were no students who got a score above the KKM, while in the posttest results all students got a score above the KKM. The increase in student learning outcomes after using the CNC VMC Simulator application is expressed in N-gain, namely 0.72, including in the "High" category, the implementation of learning using the CNC VMC Simulator application is included in the "Very good" category and the student response to using the CNC VMC Simulator application is 83%, including in the "Very good" category.
