Abstract
Pengaruh word of mouth menjadi hal yang akan menunjang terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan ke destinasi wisata kuliner. Pantai Tanjung Pakis merupakan Pantai yang berada di Karawang, Jawa Barat. Pantai tersebut juga mudah dicari lokasinya di media sosial. Warga masyarakat yang berkunjungpun banyak karena pengaruh dari orang-orang sekitar yang sudah mengetahui tentang keberadaan Pantai Tanjung Pakis ini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan kuisioner. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel 100 (seratus) responden. Teknik pengujian instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji validitas dan realibitas, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, dan analisis hipotesis dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 26 untuk menggola data. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan kedua variabel (word of mouth dan wisata kuliner) terhadap keputusan berkunjung ke obyek wisata Pantai Tanjung Pakis Karawang Jawa Barat. Sehingga hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa word of mouth dan wisata kuliner berpengaruh positif secara bersamaan terhadap keputusan berkunjung ke obyek wisata Pantai Tanjung Pakis Karawang Jawa Barat terbukti kebenarannya. The influence of word of mouth is something that will support tourists' decisions to visit culinary tourism destinations. Tanjung Pakis Beach is a beach located in Karawang, West Java. The beach is also easy to find on social media. Many local residents visit because of the influence of local people who already know about the existence of Tanjung Pakis Beach. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research. Data collection techniques used observation and questionnaires. This study used a sample of 100 (one hundred) respondents. The instrument testing techniques in this study were validity and reliability tests, while data analysis techniques used classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis analysis using the SPSS version 26 application to process the data. The results show that there is a significant influence of both variables (word of mouth and culinary tourism) on the decision to visit the Tanjung Pakis Beach tourist attraction in Karawang, West Java. Therefore, the hypothesis stating that word of mouth and culinary tourism have a simultaneous positive influence on the decision to visit the Tanjung Pakis Beach tourist attraction in Karawang, West Java is proven true.
