Abstract

Pemilihan Umum (Pemilu) 2024 menjadi momentum penting yang mendorong masyarakat untuk secara aktif mencari informasi dalam jumlah besar. Media informasi memegang peran krusial dalam mendukung pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi masyarakat. Bagi mahasiswa FIP angkatan 2021-2023, Pemilu kali ini menjadi pengalaman pertama mereka dalam menggunakan hak suara, sehingga kebutuhan akan informasi yang akurat dan kredibel menjadi semakin penting. Namun, tidak semua media informasi mampu menyediakan informasi yang lengkap dan terpercaya, sehingga menimbulkan tantangan tersendiri bagi pemilih pemula dalam memperoleh informasi. Website Bijak Memilih hadir menyajikan informasi lengkap tentang pemilu 2024 serta informasi yang disajikan berasal dari sumber-sumber yang kredibel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan penilaian website Bijak Memilih dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pemilih pemula pada pemilu tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan proportional stratified random sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 97 orang yang merupakan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan angkatan 2021-2023, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner online. Penilaian website menggunakan model WebQual 4.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penilaian website Bijak Memilih dengan kebutuhan informasi pemilih pemula. Pada aspek penilaian website Bijak Memilih yang diukur menggunakan WebQual 4.0 dengan indikator usability, information quality, dan service interaction quality berada pada kategori yang sangat baik. Kemudian, pada pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi dengan indikator kebutuhan informasi mutakhir, kebutuhan informasi sehari-hari, kebutuhan informasi mendalam, dan kebutuhan informasi sekilas berada pada kategori baik. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa website Bijak Memilih telah mampu memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pemilihnya. The 2024 General Election (Pemilu) is an important momentum that encourages people to actively seek information in large quantities. Information media plays a crucial role in supporting the fulfillment of people's information needs. For FIP students of the 2021-2023 class, this election is their first experience in exercising their right to vote, so the need for accurate and credible information is increasingly important. However, not all information media are able to provide complete and reliable information, thus creating its own challenges for new voters in obtaining information. The Bijak Memilih website presents complete information about the 2024 election and the information presented comes from credible sources. This study aims to determine the relationship between the evaluation of the Bijak Memilih website and the fulfillment of the information needs of new voters in the 2024 election. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used proportional stratified random sampling with a total of 97 respondents who were students of the Faculty of Education, class of 2021-2023, Indonesia University of Education. Data collection was carried out by distributing online questionnaires. The assessment of website utilization used the WebQual 4.0 model. The results of the study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the use of the Bijak Memilih website and the information needs of new voters. In terms of the use of the Bijak Memilih website, which is measured using WebQual 4.0 with indicators of usability, information quality, and service interaction quality, it is in the very good category. Then, in terms of fulfilling information needs with indicators of up-to-date information needs, daily information needs, in-depth information needs, and brief information needs, it is in the good category. This shows that the Bijak Memilih website has been able to meet the information needs of its voters.
