Abstract
Tingginya persaingan dalam dunia kerja telah menyebabkan meningkatnya angka pengangguran, sehingga diperlukan motivasi yang lebih kuat untuk memperoleh pekerjaan. Salah satu cara meningkatkan motivasi tersebut adalah melalui program magang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengalaman magang dan motivasi kerja mahasiswa pariwisata, menganalisis tingkat motivasi kerja mereka setelah mengikuti program magang, serta menilai pengaruh pengalaman magang terhadap motivasi kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan responden mahasiswa pariwisata upi yang telah menjalani program magang. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa pengalaman magang berpengaruh terhadap motivasi kerja. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukan pengaruh pengalaman magang terhadap motivasi kerja sebesar 78,7%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengalaman magang berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja. High competition in the world of work has caused an increase in unemployment, so stronger motivation is needed to get a job. One way to increase motivation is through an internship program. This research aims to identify the internship experience and work motivation of tourism students, analyze their level of work motivation after participating in the internship program, and assess the influence of internship experience on work motivation. This research uses a quantitative approach with respondents from UPI tourism students who have undergone an internship program. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using statistical methods. Hypothesis test results show that internship experience influences work motivation. The results of the coefficient of determination test show that the influence of internship experience on work motivation is 78.7%. It can be concluded that internship experience has a positive and significant effect on work motivation.
