Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan siswa sekolah dasar yang membutuhkan model serta media pembelajaran dalam menunjang pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif agar mampu meningkatkan kemampuannya dalam berpikir kritis. Pada materi sistem pencernaan pada manusia, dibutuhkan model serta media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi siswa sehingga kemampuan siswa dalam berpikir kritis meningkat. Tujuan dari penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu untuk menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh model inquiry learning berbantuan media augmented reality (AR) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode Quasi-Eksperimen desain Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN 044 Awigombong. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model inquiry learning berbantuan media augmented reality terdapat perbedaan yang lebih signifikan dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan saintifik dengan hasil uji Mann-Whitney yaitu p-value (0.001). Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen dengan model inquiry learning berbantuan media augmented reality mendapatkan hasil nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,85 sedangkan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media picture mendapatkan hasil N-Gain sebesar 0,60. Dan terdapat hasil perolehan Effect Size sebesar 1.29 maka termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model inquiry learning berbantuan media augmented reality yang diterapkan di kelas eksperimen memberikan pengaruh yang tinggi dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia. ---------- This research was motivated by the needs of elementary school students who required a learning model and media to support a more interactive learning process in order to improve their critical thinking skills. In the topic of the human digestive system, a learning model and media were needed to increase students' motivation so that their ability to think critically was enhanced. The purpose of the research conducted was to analyze the extent of the influence of the inquiry learning model assisted by augmented reality (AR) media on students' critical thinking skills. The method used in this study was a Quasi-Experimental method with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. This study was carried out at SDN 044 Awigombong. The research results showed that the inquiry learning model assisted by augmented reality media produced more significant differences compared to learning using the scientific approach, with the Mann-Whitney test result of p-value (0.001). In addition, based on the N-Gain test results, it was shown that the experimental class using the inquiry learning model assisted by AR media achieved an N-Gain score of 0.85, while the control class using the scientific approach with picture media obtained an N-Gain score of 0.60. Furthermore, the effect size obtained was 1.29, which is categorized as moderate. These results indicated that the inquiry learning model assisted by augmented reality media implemented in the experimental class had a strong influence on improving students' critical thinking skills in the topic of the human digestive system.
