Abstract
Penelitian ini di latar belakangi pada permasalahan pendidikan karakter di era digital yang semakin tergerus oleh budaya global serta rendahnya minat siswa terhadap permainan tradisional yang kaya akan nilai edukatifnya. Dari latar belakang tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi permainan tradisional Boi-Boian dan Oray-Orayan, keterkaitan dengan karakter Profil Pelajar Pancasila serta hasil belajar siswa dengan mengimplementasikan permainan tradisional Boi-Boian dan Oray-Orayan dalam mengembangkan karakter Profil Pelajar Pancasila pada siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Sukawangi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi serta penilaian pada hasil belajar siswa yang terdapat dalam penilaian post-test dan pre-test serta penilaian pada keterampilan dan sikap siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa permainan tradisional Boi-Boian dan Oray-Orayan efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter yang sejalan dengan 6 dimensi Profil Pelajar Pancasila yaitu beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan YME gotong royong, mandiri, bernalar kritis, kreatif, dan berkebhinekaan global. Selain itu, pembelajaran melalui permainan tradisional mampu meningkatkan partisipasi aktif, interaksi sosial serta pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari hari. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada guru untuk mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal seperti permainan tradisional ke dalam pembelajaran secara lebih sistematis dan berkelanjutan. -------- This study is motivated by the issue of character education in the digital age, which is increasingly being eroded by global culture and the low interest of students in traditional games that are rich in educational value. Based on this background, this study aims to examine the implementation of the traditional games of Boi-Boian and Oray-Orayan, their relevance to the Pancasila Student Profile, and student learning outcomes by implementing the traditional games of Boi-Boian and Oray-Orayan in Pancasila Students, and stdent learning outcomes by implementing traditional games Boi-Boian and Oray-Orayan in developing the character profile of Pancasila Students among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Sukawangi. This study employs a qualitative descriptive research method with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, documentation and assessment of student learning outcomes in post-test and pre-test assessments, as well as assessment of students’ skills and attitudes. The results of the study indicate that traditional games Boi-Boian and Oray-Orayan are effective in instilling character values aligned with the 6 dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile: faithful and reverent toward God, cooperative, independent, critical and creative, creativity, and global diversity. Additionally, learning through traditional games can increase active participation, social interaction, and students’ understanding of Pancasila values in daily life. Therefore, this study recommends that teachers integrate local wisdom, such as traditional games, into learning in a more systematic and sustainable manner.
