Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia pada siswa kelas IV melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran Know-Want to Know-Learned (KWL) berbantuan media Literacy Cloud. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVB SDN Ancol 01 Pagi, yang berjumlah 29 siswa. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, dan tes membaca pemahaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi KWL dengan dukungan media Literacy Cloud dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa dan guru serta kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Pada siklus I, rata-rata nilai siswa 68, dan meningkat pada Siklus II menjadi 88,51. Pada aktivitas guru mengalami peningkatan siklus I 90%, sedangkan siklus II 100%, lalu pada aktivitas siswa pada siklus I 86%, siklus II 100%. Peningkatan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi pembelajaran Know-Want to Know-Learned (KWL) berbantuan media Literacy Cloud dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas IV SDN Ancol 01 Pagi. ----- This study aims to improve students' reading comprehension skills in Indonesian language subjects in grade IV students through the application of the Know-Want to Know-Learned (KWL) learning strategy assisted by Literacy Cloud media. This study uses a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects in this study were 29 students of grade IVB SDN Ancol 01 Pagi. Data were obtained through observation and reading comprehension tests. The results showed that the KWL strategy supported by Literacy Cloud media can improve student and teacher activities and students' reading comprehension skills. In cycle I, the average student score was 68, and increased in Cycle II to 88.51. In teacher activity, there was an increase in cycle I of 90%, while cycle II was 100%, then in student activity in cycle I 86%, cycle II 100%. The increase shows that the implementation of the Know-Want to Know-Learned (KWL) learning strategy assisted by Literacy Cloud media can improve the reading comprehension skills of fourth grade students at SDN Ancol 01 Pagi.
