    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar dengan tujuan mengetahui pengaruh dan peningkatan pendekatan CTL berbantuan Literacy Cloud terhadap kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini dengan kelompok eksperimen menggunakan pendekatan CTL berbantuan media Literacy Cloud sedangkan kelompok kontrol menggunakan pendekatan kooperatif. Sasarannya siswa kelas 3 sekolah dasar pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan kuasi eksperimen dengan bentuk Nonequivalent Control Grup Design teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian dilakukan pada 50 siswa di salah satu SD Kabupaten Purwakarta. Data yang diolah berupa data tes dan non-tes. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji-t. Uji tersebut dilanjutkan ke uji regresi linear sederhana dan menentukan koefisien determinasi.Berdasarkan hasil analisis data terdapat pengaruh pendekatan CTL berbantuan media Literacy Cloud terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar sebesar 55.1%. Dengan demikian, pendekatan CTL berbantuan media Literacy Cloud dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif yang membantu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa sekolah dasar. ----- This study was motivated by the low reading comprehension ability of elementary school students with the aim of knowing the influence and improvement of the CTL approach assisted by Literacy Cloud on the reading comprehension ability of elementary school students. This study with an experimental group using the CTL approach assisted by Literacy Cloud media while the control group used a cooperative approach. The target was grade 3 elementary school students learning Indonesian. The type of research used was a quasi-experimental study in the form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design with a purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted on 50 students in one of the elementary schools in Purwakarta Regency. The data processed were in the form of test and non-test data. The data analysis technique was carried out with descriptive and inferential analysis of normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests. The test was continued with a simple linear regression test and determined the coefficient of determination. Based on the results of the data analysis, there was an influence of the CTL approach assisted by Literacy Cloud media on improving the reading comprehension ability of elementary school students by 55.1%. Thus, the CTL approach assisted by Literacy Cloud media can be used as an alternative to help improve the reading comprehension ability of elementary school students.
