    Abstract

    Ketidaksesuaian antara langkah pembelajaran dan tujuan yang ingin dicapai sering menghambat proses pendidikan jasmani, tercermin dari rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dalam aktivitas gerak. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah keterbatasan sarana yang membuat siswa lebih banyak menunggu giliran daripada berpartisipasi aktif dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan keterampilan gerak dasar siswa melalui penerapan model pendidikan gerak. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan karena mengingat pentingnya keterampilan gerak dasar untuk perkembangan anak. Model pendidikan gerak diharapkan dapat mengurangi waktu menunggu dan memberikan kesempatan bagi siswa untuk lebih aktif bergerak dalam pembelajaran, sekaligus meningkatkan rasa percaya diri mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), yang melibatkan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi dalam dua siklus pembelajaran. Setiap siklus difokuskan pada pengembangan keterampilan gerak dasar dan peningkatan keterlibatan siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan fisik, kepercayaan diri, dan keterlibatan siswa pada siklus kedua dibandingkan siklus pertama. Siswa menjadi lebih aktif dan percaya diri dalam melakukan gerakan serta berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan kelompok. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan model pendidikan gerak terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, keterampilan gerak dasar, dan kepercayaan diri dalam pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani. Model ini dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam mengatasi keterbatasan sarana dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani di sekolah. The mismatch between the teaching steps and the goals to be achieved often hinders the physical education process, as reflected in the low student involvement in physical activities. One of the causes is the limited facilities, which lead students to spend more time waiting for their turn rather than actively participating in the learning process. This study aims to enhance students' movement skills and engagement through the implementation of a movement education model. This research was conducted due to the importance of fundamental movement skills for child development. The movement education model is expected to reduce waiting time and provide more opportunities for students to be actively engaged in movement during lessons, while also boosting their self-confidence. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which involves planning, action, observation, and reflection stages across two learning cycles. Each cycle focuses on developing fundamental movement skills and increasing student engagement. The results of the study show significant improvements in physical skills, self-confidence, and student involvement in the second cycle compared to the first cycle. Students became more active and confident in performing movements and participating in group activities. Overall, the application of the movement education model proved effective in enhancing student engagement, fundamental movement skills, and self-confidence in physical education lessons. This model can serve as an effective alternative to overcome facility limitations and improve the quality of physical education teaching in schools.
