Abstract
Penulisan laporan akhir ini membahas proses penciptaan karya sastra berupa memoar berjudul Merdeka di Setiap Langkah yang merekam pengalaman personal penulis selama mengikuti program pertukaran mahasiswa di Universitas Sriwijaya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah arts-based research (ABR) dan autoetnografi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara terbuka, dan kajian pustaka untuk memperkuat validitas pengalaman yang ditulis. Memoar ini dibangun dari delapan bagian utama yang menyajikan dinamika emosional, proses adaptasi lintas budaya, serta pengembangan keterampilan hidup yang diperoleh selama satu semester di Sumatera Selatan. Hasil evaluasi dari empat orang reviewer menunjukkan bahwa keempat aspek penilaian, yaitu aspek Pedagogis dan Profil Pelajar Pancasila, aspek Puitis dan unsur Memoar, aspek Politik-Ideologis, serta aspek Pementingan Pembaca, memiliki distribusi nilai yang relatif seimbang tanpa ada aspek yang dominan secara signifikan. Namun demikian, aspek Pedagogis menempati posisi paling menonjol. Karya ini diharapkan menjadi ruang refleksi personal sekaligus berkontribusi dalam pengembangan sastra berbasis pengalaman serta pendidikan karakter melalui media memoar. This final report discusses the process of creating a literary work in the form of a memoir titled Merdeka di Setiap Langkah, which captures the author's personal experiences during a student exchange program at Universitas Sriwijaya. The research approach used is arts-based research (ABR) combined with autoethnography. Data were collected through participant observation, open-ended interviews, and literature review to strengthen the validity of the experiences narrated. The memoir is structured into eight main parts, presenting emotional dynamics, cross-cultural adaptation processes, and the development of life skills gained during a semester in South Sumatra. An evaluation by four reviewers indicates that the four assessment aspects, Pedagogical and Pancasila Student Profile, Poetic and Memoir Elements, Political-Ideological Aspects, and Reader-Centeredness are relatively balanced, with no single aspect being significantly dominant. However, the Pedagogical aspect appears to be the most prominent. This work is intended to serve as a space for personal reflection and to contribute to the development of experience-based literature and character education through the medium of memoir.
