    Abstract

    Perkembangan motorik halus anak memerlukan stimulasi yang digunakan untuk mencapai perkembangan yang optimal. Hambatan motorik halus dapat disebabkan dari kurangnya pemberian stimulasi dan kegiatan yang monoton sehingga anak malas untuk megerjakannya. Stimulasi sebaiknya menggunakan kegiatan menyenangkan dan sesuai kebutuhan perkembangan, salah satunya dengan paper clay. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, desain one group pre-test posttest desain. Sampel sebanyak 12 orang menggunakan lembar instrumen observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelas eksperimen dengan urutan pre-test, tiga kali treatment dan post-test. Hasil pre-test diperoleh jumlah 288, rata-rata 24, varians 11,3 nilai median 23,5 dan standar deviasi 3,3. Sedangkan hasil post-test berjumlah 470, rata-rata 39, varians 18,8, nilai median 40 dan standar deviasi 4,5. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan uji N-Gain dan statistik inferensial dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji wilcoxon signed ranks test. Hasil uji N-Gain diperoleh jumlah 5,11 dengan kategori sedang. Hasil uji wilcoxon signed ranks test sebesar 0,002 dengan H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Pemberian eksperimen dengan menggunakan paper clay menujukkan perbedaan signifikan sehingga dapat meningkatkan perkembangan motorik halus anak. The development of a child's fine motor skills requires stimulation that is used to achieve optimal development. Fine motor skill obstacles can be caused by a lack of stimulation and monotonous activities, making children reluctant to engage in them. Stimulation should involve enjoyable activities that meet developmental needs, one of which is using paper clay. This study employs an experimental method with a one-group pre-test posttest design. The sample consists of 12 individuals using observation and documentation instruments. This study uses one experimental class with a sequence of pre-test, three treatment sessions, and a post-test. The results of the pre-test showed a total of 288, an average of 24, a variance of 11.3, a median of 23.5, and a standard deviation of 3.3. Meanwhile, the results of the post-test showed a total of 470, an average of 39, a variance of 18.8, a median of 40, and a standard deviation of 4.5. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics with the N-Gain test and inferential statistics with hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The N-Gain test result was 5.11, categorized as medium. The result of the Wilcoxon signed-rank test was 0.002, which means H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The experimental treatment using paper clay showed a significant difference, indicating an improvement in children's fine motor development.
