    Abstract

    ABSTRAK PANDANGAN ORANG TUA TENTANG FILM UPIN IPIN DALAM KONTEKS PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER (Studi Kasus Terhadap Orang Tua Anak Usia Dini Di Kota Bandung) Mayang Dwi Kartika 1908285 Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan masih banyak masalah kehidupan dimasyarakat yang tidak menggambarkan nilai dan martabat bangsa yang dipengaruhi oleh film-film yang kurang baik untuk ditonton sehingga perilaku meniru gaya hidup bangsa lain semakin tinggi sehingga merunnya moralitas bangsa menjadi lemah dan tidak berbudi pekerti, salah satunya yaitu lunturnya nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pandangan orang tua tentang film upin ipin dalam konteks pendidikan karakter . Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dengan teknik wawancara kepada dua orang tua anak usia dini, kemudian hasil penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik Grounded Theory. Hasil penelitian tersebut menyebutkan (1) Memiliki dan memberikan manfaat yang baik bagi anak, (2) Melakukan pengawasan terhadap tayangan yang ditonton oleh anak, (3) Mengandung muatan karakter bagi anak, (4) Anak mengimitasi tontonan, (5) Dampak penyerta pada anak setelah menonton film upin dan ipin. Selain itu, penelitian ini pun merekomendasikan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk meneliti mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini dengan menggunakan metode yang lain sehingga penelitian mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter kepada anak usia dini bisa lebih luas. ABSTRACT PARENTS' VIEWS ON UPIN IPIN FILM IN THE CONTEXT OF CHARACTER EDUCATION (Case Study of Parents of Early Childhood in Bandung City) Mayang Dwi Kartika 1908285 This research is motivated by the fact that there are still many problems in life in society that do not reflect the values and dignity of the nation, which are influenced by films that are not good to watch, so that the behavior of imitating the lifestyles of other nations is increasing, resulting in the decline of the nation's morality, becoming weak and unconscionable, one of which is the erosion of character education values. The aim of this research is to find out parents' views about the film Upin Ipin in the context of character education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study research method. The data collection technique used was interview techniques with two parents of early childhood children, then the results of this research were analyzed using Grounded Theory techniques. The results of this research state that (1) Has and provides good benefits for children, (2) Supervises the shows watched by children, (3) Contains character content for children, (4) Children imitate the shows, (5) The impact of accompanying content on children after watching the film Upin and Ipin. Apart from that, this research also recommends that future researchers research the values of character education in early childhood using other methods so that research on the values of character education in early childhood can be more extensive.
