    Abstract

    Perilaku cyberslacking menjadi tantangan dalam pembelajaran, terutama di kalangan mahasiswa yang memiliki akses luas terhadap teknologi. Salah satu faktor yang berperan dalam mengurangi perilaku ini adalah motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan perilaku cyberslacking mahasiswa Teknologi Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Motivasi belajar dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada motivasi intrinsik berdasarkan Self-Determination Theory, yang meliputi kebutuhan akan otonomi, kompetensi, dan keterhubungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional, melibatkan 167 mahasiswa yang dibagi secara proportionate stratified random sampling. Hasil analisis menggunakan korelasi Rank Spearman menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar intrinsik dan perilaku cyberslacking (r = -0,200, p < 0,05). Dari tiga aspek motivasi intrinsik yang diteliti, kebutuhan akan otonomi (r = -0,292, p < 0,05) dan kompetensi (r = -0,209, p < 0,05) memiliki hubungan lebih kuat terhadap perilaku cyberslacking dibandingkan dengan keterhubungan (r = -0,078, p > 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi motivasi belajar intrinsik mahasiswa maka kecenderungan mereka untuk melakukan cyberslacking selama pembelajaran akan semakin rendah. Peningkatan motivasi intrinsik terutama dalam aspek otonomi dan kompetensi, dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam mengurangi perilaku cyberslacking di lingkungan akademik. Pengembangan metode pembelajaran yang mendukung kemandirian, penguasaan materi, dan keterhubungan sosial mahasiswa perlu dipertimbangkan dalam upaya meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran mahasiswa. Cyberslacking behavior has become a challenge in learning, especially among students with extensive access to technology. One of the factors that play a role in reducing this behavior is learning motivation. This study aims to identify the relationship between learning motivation and cyberslacking behavior among Technology Education students at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Learning motivation in this study focuses on intrinsic motivation based on Self-Determination Theory, which includes the need for autonomy, competence, and relatedness. This research employs a quantitative approach with a correlational method, involving 167 students selected using proportionate stratified random sampling. The results of the analysis using Rank Spearman correlation indicate a significant negative relationship between intrinsic learning motivation and cyberslacking behavior (r = -0.200, p < 0.05). Among the three aspects of intrinsic motivation examined, the need for autonomy (r = -0.292, p < 0.05) and competence (r = -0.209, p < 0.05) show a stronger relationship with cyberslacking behavior compared to relatedness (r = -0.078, p > 0.05). These findings suggest that the higher the students' intrinsic learning motivation, the lower their tendency to engage in cyberslacking during learning. Intrinsic motivation, particularly in the aspects of autonomy and competence, can serve as an effective strategy to reduce cyberslacking behavior in academic environments. The development of learning methods that support student autonomy, competence, and relatedness should be considered to improve student’s learning effectiveness.
