Abstract

Banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menguasai teknik dasar bola voli dan kurang memiliki kesadaran akan pentingnya kerja sama tim. Metode pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional menjadi salah satu faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran olahraga. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan inovasi dalam metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dampak penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap penguasaan teknik dasar bola voli dan kerjasama tim. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan rancangan pre-test post-test control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 58 siswa kelas VIII di SMP PGRI Limbangan, yang kemudian dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol 28 siswa dan eksperimen 30 siswa. Untuk melakukan analisis data, diterapkan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, serta uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dalam penguasaan teknik dasar bola voli dan kerjasama tim pada kelompok eksperimen setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran TGT. Model ini memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman teknik dasar dan membangun komunikasi serta koordinasi dalam tim. Many students have difficulty in mastering basic volleyball techniques and lack awareness of the importance of teamwork. Learning methods that are still conventional are one of the factors that cause low student involvement in sports learning. Therefore, innovation in learning methods is needed to improve the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. This study was conducted to analyze the impact of implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model on the mastery of basic volleyball techniques and teamwork. This study used an experimental method with a pre-test post-test control group design. The research sample consisted of 58 eighth grade students at SMP PGRI Limbangan, which were then divided into two groups, namely the control group of 28 students and the experiment group of 30 students. To conduct data analysis, normality test and homogeneity test, as well as t-test were applied. The results of the study showed that there was a significant increase in the mastery of basic volleyball techniques and teamwork in the experimental group after the implementation of the TGT learning model. This model has a positive impact on improving the understanding of basic techniques and building communication and coordination within the team.
