Abstract

Anak dengan hambatan pendengaran mengalami hambatan dalam memahami dan melaksanakan pembelajaran, termasuk dalam praktik ibadah seperti wudhu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan memahami secara mendalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran berwudhu yang diberikan kepada anak-anak tunarungu di SLB B Sumbersari, yang terletak di Antapani, Kota Bandung. Hal ini sangat penting mengingat bahwa terdapat beberapa siswa yang belum menguasai rukun dan sunnah wudhu meskipun pembelajaran telah diberikan oleh guru. Metode kualitatif deskriptif digunakan dengan data yang dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dengan guru dan siswa, serta analisis dokumen terkait pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran berwudhu belum dilakukan secara optimal. Temuan dari data perencanaan menunjukkan bahwa guru menggunakan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi, namun kurangnya keterampilan dalam bahasa isyarat menghambat pemahaman siswa terhadap materi yang diajarkan. Dalam pelaksanaan, siswa kesulitan membaca gerak bibir dan mengalami distraksi akibat ketidak fokusan di kelas. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa umpan balik kepada siswa kurang mencukupi, yang berdampak pada pemahaman mereka tentang berwudhu. Analisis data menunjukkan perlunya guru untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi dan pengelolaan kelas yang lebih baik. Diskusi mengindikasikan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang lebih inklusif dan interaktif diperlukan untuk mendukung siswa dan guru. Children with hearing impairments face challenges in understanding and carrying out learning, including in religious practices such as ablution. This research aims to explain and deeply understand the implementation of ablution learning provided to hearing-impaired children at SLB B Sumbersari, located in Antapani, Bandung City. This is very important considering that there are several students who have not yet mastered the pillars and sunnah of ablution even though the lessons have been provided by the teacher. Descriptive qualitative methods were used with data collected through observations, interviews with teachers and students, as well as document analysis related to the learning process. The research results indicate that the implementation of ablution learning has not been carried out optimally. Findings from the planning data indicate that teachers use the demonstration method, but the lack of proficiency in sign language hindered students' understanding of the material being taught. In practice, students have difficulty reading lips and experience distractions due to lack of focus in class. Evaluation shows that feedback to students is insufficient, which impacts their understanding of ablution. Data analysis indicated the need for teachers to improve their communication skills and classroom management. The discussion indicates that more inclusive and interactive learning strategies are needed to support students and teachers.
