Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembinaan karakter religius siswa melalui program Bengkel Al-Qur'an di SD YPWKS II Cilegon. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali perencanaan dan proses pelaksanaan program Bengkel Al-Qur'an, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pelaksanaannya, serta menggambarkan bentuk karakter religius yang terbentuk pada siswa. Menurut Zubaedi (2011:14) dalam bukunya mengungkapkan bahwa pendidikan karakter diartikan sebagai usaha kita sebagai tenaga pendidik secara sengaja dari seluruh dimensi kehidupan sekolah untuk membantu pengembangan karakter siswa secara optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan di SD YPWKS II Cilegon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan program Bengkel Al-Qur'an telah disusun secara sistematis dan terstruktur, dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan pengamalan ajaran Al-Qur'an di kalangan siswa. Proses pelaksanaan program ini melibatkan berbagai kegiatan, termasuk pembelajaran tajwid, hafalan, dan penerapan nilai-nilai Al-Qur'an dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Faktor pendukung yang signifikan meliputi dukungan dari pihak sekolah, keterlibatan aktif orang tua, serta kesiapan guru dalam memberikan bimbingan yang tepat. Namun, terdapat pula faktor penghambat seperti terbatasnya waktu pelaksanaan dan kurangnya partisipasi serta motivasi siswa. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, karakter religius siswa yang tercermin melalui program Bengkel Al-Qur'an meliputi peningkatan kedisiplinan dalam beribadah, kepedulian terhadap sesama, serta penerapan nilai-nilai Islami dalam perilaku sehari-hari. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan pendidikan karakter religius di tingkat sekolah dasar, serta memberikan wawasan bagi sekolah lain dalam melaksanakan program serupa yang dapat membentuk generasi yang lebih berakhlak mulia. This study aims to analyze the development of students' religious character through the Al-Qur'an Workshop program at SD YPWKS II Cilegon. The main focus of this study is to explore the planning and implementation process of the Al-Qur'an Workshop program, identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation, and describe the form of religious character formed in students. According to Zubaedi (2011:14) in his book, character education is defined as our efforts as educators intentionally from all dimensions of school life to help develop students' character optimally. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation conducted at SD YPWKS II Cilegon. The results of the study indicate that the planning of the Al-Qur'an Workshop program has been prepared systematically and structured, with the aim of improving the understanding and practice of the teachings of the Al-Qur'an among students. The process of implementing this program involves various activities, including learning tajwid, memorization, and applying the values of the Al-Qur'an in everyday life. Significant supporting factors include support from the school, active involvement of parents, and teacher readiness in providing appropriate guidance. However, there are also inhibiting factors such as limited implementation time and lack of student participation and motivation. Based on these findings, the religious character of students reflected through the Al-Qur'an Workshop program includes increased discipline in worship, concern for others, and the application of Islamic values in daily behavior. This study is expected to contribute to the development of religious character education at the elementary school level, as well as provide insight for other schools in implementing similar programs that can form a generation with more noble morals.
