Abstract
Kemampuan berpikir logis sangat penting dalam pembelajaran di sekolah, khususnya dalam memahami konsep Pemrograman Berorientasi Objek pada elemen Pemrograman Berbasis Teks, Grafis, dan Multimedia. Berdasarkan temuan awal, banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi yang bersifat konseptual akibat metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang mendukung pengembangan kemampuan berpikir logis. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran berbantuan multimedia interaktif dengan model Scaffolding dianggap dapat meningkatkan motivasi, pemahaman, dan logical thinking siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan R&D dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluate) untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan multimedia Logophile. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia Logophile berbasis Scaffolding efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir logis siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 62,61 meningkat menjadi 79,13 pada posttest dan nilai gain sebesar 0,45 yang berada dalam kategori "Sedang." Selain itu, tanggapan siswa terhadap multimedia ini yang positif, dengan skor rata-rata tanggapan sebesar 74,93% yang termasuk kategori "Baik." Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa model Scaffolding berbantuan multimedia Logophile efektif, mudah digunakan dalam mendukung aktivitas pembelajaran siswa.
The ability to think logically is crucial in school learning, particularly in understanding Object-Oriented Programming concepts within the elements of Text-Based, Graphics, and Multimedia Programming. Initial findings indicate that many students struggle to grasp conceptual material due to conventional teaching methods that inadequately support the development of logical thinking skills. Therefore, interactive multimedia-assisted learning using the Scaffolding model is considered capable of enhancing students' motivation, understanding, and logical thinking. This study employs an Research and Development approach with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implement, Evaluate) to design and implement the Logophile multimedia. The research results show that the Scaffolding-based Logophile multimedia is effective in improving students' logical thinking skills, with the average pretest score of 62.61 increasing to 79.13 in the posttest, yielding a gain score of 0.45, which falls into the "Moderate" category. Additionally, students' responses to this multimedia were positive, with an average response score of 74.93%, categorized as "Good." These findings indicate that the Scaffolding model assisted by Logophile multimedia is effective and easy to use in supporting students' learning activities.
