Abstract

Pembelajaran sastra diberikan untuk meningkatkan dan menumbuhkan minat siswa terhadap karya sastra yang merupakan bagian dari kebudayaan Bangsa Indonesia. Salah satu karya sastra yang erat kaitannya dengan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia adalah cerita rakyat. Eksistensi dari cerita rakyat inilah yang kemudian dijadikan sebagai sumber inspirasi pembelajaran khususnya dalam pembelajaran drama dengan metode sosiodrama. Dengan pembelajaran drama, siswa akan terbantu mengembangkan berbagai keterampilan berbahasa termasuk berbicara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui watak tokoh yang terdapat dalam Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Nusantara, dimana setelahnya akan dibuat sebagai bahan pembelajaran drama bagi siswa kelas VI sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu studi dokumen dengan menganalisis watak tokoh dilihat dari tindakan dan tuturan yang merujuk pada aktivitas verbal dan nonverbal tokoh cerita. Selain itu, penggambaran watak tokoh juga dilihat melalui pandangan tokoh lain, arus kesadaran dan pikiran tokoh, pelukisan fisik, dan pelukisan latar oleh pengarang terhadap tokoh cerita. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah watak tokoh dalam buku Kumpulan Cerita Rakyat Nusantara. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang dilakukan, terdapat 235 data temuan yang mengandung watak tokoh, diantaranya terdapat 132 tokoh dengan 44 watak protagonis dan 103 tokoh dengan 32 watak antagonis. Dari hasil penelitian ini, akan dibuat bahan pembelajaran berupa modul yang berisi materi tentang tahapan penggambaran watak tokoh dengan mengarahkan siswa untuk mengidentifikasi watak tokoh protagonis dan antagonis. Setelah siswa memahami bagaimana watak tersebut digambarkan, kemudian siswa akan berlatih dan terlibat langsung dalam aktivitas sosiodrama. Literature learning is provided to increase and foster students’ interest in literay works which are part of the culture of the Indonesian Nation. One of the literary works that is closely related to Indonesian language learning is folklore. The existence of folklore is then used as a source of inspiration for learning, especially in drama learning with the sociodrama method. By drama learning, students will be helped to develop various language skills including speaking. This research aims to find out the character of the characters contained in the Nusantara Folklore Collection, which will be made as a drama learning material for grade VI elementery school students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a content analysis method. The data collection technique in this research is a document study by analyzing the character’s character seen from the actions and speech that refer to the verbal and nonverbal activities of teh story character. In addition, the character’s depiction is also seen through the views of other characters, the flow of consciousness and thoughts of the characters, physical depiction, and the author’s depiction of the setting of the story characters. The subject of this reserach is the character in the Nusantara Folklore Collection book. Based on the results of the analysis, there are 235 data findings that contain character traits, including 132 characters with 44 protagonist characters and 103 characters with 32 antagonist characters. From the results of this research, learning materials will be made in the form of modules containing material about the stages of character depiction by directing students to identify protagonist and antagonist characters. After students understand how the character is described, then students will practice and be directly involved in sociodrama activities.
