Abstract
Penanaman nilai karakter toleransi sejak usia dini sangat penting karena anak-anak mudah terpengaruh oleh pesan-pesan tentang perbedaan ras, agama, etnis, dan budaya. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pelaksanaan implementasi nilai karakter toleransi menggunakan lagu “Pelajar Pancasila” pada aktivitas senam di TKK BPK PENABUR Serang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan proses implementasi nilai karakter toleransi serta menganalisis bagaimana lagu “Pelajar Pancasila” dalam aktivitas senam mampu menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi pada anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari anak-anak usia 5–6 tahun (kelompok B), guru kelas, dan kepala sekolah. Pelaksanaan implementasi dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan lagu ‘Pelajar Pancasila’ dalam kegiatan senam rutin yang berlangsung setiap minggu. Guru memulai dengan menjelaskan makna lirik lagu secara sederhana, lalu memandu anak-anak melakukan gerakan senam sambil menyanyikan lagu tersebut. Selama kegiatan berlangsung, guru membimbing anak untuk menunjukkan sikap toleran, seperti menunggu giliran, membantu teman, serta bekerja sama dalam kelompok. Setelah kegiatan, guru mengadakan refleksi bersama anak-anak untuk memperkuat pemahaman terhadap nilai-nilai toleransi yang telah dipraktikkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan aktivitas senam yang diiringi lagu “Pelajar Pancasila” secara terstruktur dan konsisten berhasil menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai toleransi. Lirik lagu yang mengandung pesan persatuan, gotong royong, dan saling menghargai mempermudah anak memahami dan mempraktikkan sikap toleran. Terlihat dari perilaku anak-anak saat senam, seperti saling menunggu giliran, membantu teman yang kesulitan, serta tidak membeda-bedakan teman. Dengan demikian, lagu “Pelajar Pancasila” terbukti efektif sebagai media pembelajaran karakter yang dapat diintegrasikan dalam kegiatan motorik anak. Instilling the character value of tolerance from an early age is very important because children are easily influenced by messages about differences in race, religion, ethnicity, and culture. This study focuses on the implementation of the character value of tolerance through the song "Pelajar Pancasila" in gymnastics activities at TKK BPK PENABUR Serang. The purpose of this study was to describe the process of implementing the character value of tolerance and to analyze how the song "Pelajar Pancasila" in gymnastics activities is able to instill the values of tolerance in children. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analytical method. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study consisted of children aged 5-6 years (group B), class teachers, and principals. The implementation was carried out by integrating the song Pelajar Pancasila in routine gymnastics activities that take place every week. The teacher begins by explaining the meaning of the song lyrics in a simple manner, then guides the children to do gymnastics movements while singing the song. During the activity, the teacher guides the children to show tolerant attitudes, such as waiting their turn, helping friends, and working together in groups. After the activity, the teacher conducted a reflection with the children to strengthen their understanding of the values of tolerance that had been practiced. The results of the study showed that the implementation of gymnastics activities accompanied by the song "Pelajar Pancasila" in a structured and consistent manner succeeded in internalizing the values of tolerance. The lyrics of the song containing messages of unity, mutual cooperation, and mutual respect made it easier for children to understand and practice tolerant attitudes. This can be seen from the behavior of children during gymnastics, such as waiting for their turn, helping friends who are having difficulties, and not discriminating against friends. Thus, the song "Pelajar Pancasila" has proven effective as a character learning medium that can be integrated into children's motor activities.
