Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kemampuan numerasi siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal numerasi setara AKM konten aljabar ditinjau dari gaya belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari sembilan siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP Kabupaten Bandung, yang dipilih berdasarkan hasil angket gaya belajar (visual, auditori, kinestetik) dan tes kemampuan numerasi (tinggi, sedang, rendah). Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui angket, tes soal numerasi, wawancara mendalam, serta analisis dokumen terkait. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan gaya belajar visual, auditori, dan kinestetik memiliki kemampuan numerasi yang berbeda pada level kognitif knowing, applying, dan reasoning. Siswa dengan kemampuan tinggi mampu memenuhi semua level kognitif, siswa dengan kemampuan sedang menghadapi kesulitan pada beberapa level kognitif, sedangkan siswa dengan kemampuan rendah menghadapi kesulitan hampir pada seluruh level kognitif. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan siswa mencakup lemahnya pemahaman konsep dasar, kurangnya fokus dan konsentrasi, serta suasana pembelajaran yang tidak mendukung gaya belajar siswa. Tidak hanya deskripsi profil kemampuan numerasi siswa, penelitian ini turut menawarkan rekomendasi praktis dalam bentuk strategi pembelajaran yang responsif terhadap gaya belajar siswa. Strategi tersebut disusun berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan. Hasil penelitian ini pun diimplementasikan dalam bentuk panduan praktis yang diharapkan dapat membantu guru menciptakan pembelajaran numerasi yang lebih inklusif dan efektif. This study aims to describe students' numeracy profiles in solving AKM-equivalent numeracy problems in algebra content from the perspective of their learning styles. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research subjects consisted of nine seventh-grade students from a junior high school in Kabupaten Bandung, selected based on the results of a learning style questionnaire (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) and a numeracy test (high, medium, low ability). The research data were collected through questionnaires, numeracy tests, in-depth interviews, and relevant document analysis. The findings revealed that students with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles demonstrated varying numeracy abilities at the cognitive levels of knowing, applying, and reasoning. High-ability students were able to achieve all cognitive levels, medium-ability students experienced difficulties at some cognitive levels, while low-ability students encountered difficulties in almost all cognitive levels. Factors contributing to students' difficulties included weak foundational conceptual understanding, lack of focus and concentration, and a learning environment that did not support their learning styles. In addition to describing students' numeracy profiles, this study also offers practical recommendations in the form of teaching strategies responsive to students' learning styles. These strategies were developed based on the findings of the research. The study's results were further implemented in a practical guidebook, which is expected to assist teachers in creating more inclusive and effective numeracy learning.
