Abstract
Students' career aspirations are dynamic and can change over time, influenced by various factors such as environmental factors and technological developments including the increasingly widespread use of social media. However, understanding the extent to which these two variables influence students' career aspirations is still limited, especially in Vocational High Schools in the Fashion Design Field. This study aims to analyze the influence of the environment and social media on the career aspirations of Vocational High School students in the Fashion Design Field in West Java. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach with a survey method involving 671 students from Vocational High Schools in the KCD 7 to KCD 13 areas of West Java Province. Data were analyzed using multiple regression techniques to identify the significant influence of the environment and social media on students' career aspirations. The results of the study showed that both the environment and social media have a significant influence on students' career aspirations. Social media not only functions as a source of career information but also as a means to build professional networks and visualize career opportunities in the Fashion Design field. This study contributes to expanding the literature on factors that influence students' career aspirations in the digital era, especially in vocational education. The implications of the research are effective and relevant to students' needs and modern social dynamics, and encourage vocational educators to utilize social media strategically and create a learning environment that supports students' career exploration..
