Abstract

Keterbatasan komunikasi antara orang tua dan guru di PAUD dapat menghambat keterlibatan orang tua dalam perkembangan anak, sementara buku penghubung masih memiliki kelemahan dan belum banyak aplikasi yang dirancang khusus untuk mendukung komunikasi efektif dalam pendidikan anak usia dini. Berangkat dari permasalahan ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang prototipe aplikasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan komunikasi antara orang tua dan guru di PAUD. Dengan metode deskriptif analitis, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi yang melibatkan pengelola, guru, serta orang tua peserta didik di RA Al-Haq Margahayu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi yang dirancang perlu mencakup fitur komunikasi dua arah, pemantauan perkembangan anak, serta penyampaian informasi akademik dan non-akademik secara sistematis. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan aplikasi serupa guna meningkatkan keterbukaan komunikasi dalam pendidikan anak usia dini. Limited communication between parents and teachers in early childhood education (PAUD) can hinder parental involvement in children's development, while communication books still have shortcomings, and few applications are specifically designed to support effective communication in early childhood education. Addressing this issue, this study aims to design a prototype application that meets the communication needs between parents and teachers in PAUD. Using a descriptive-analytical method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies involving administrators, teachers, and parents of students at RA Al-Haq Margahayu. The findings indicate that the designed application should include two-way communication features, child development monitoring, and a systematic delivery of academic and non-academic information. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for the development of similar applications to enhance open communication in early childhood education.
